Fiber composite materials as an important leading material in the field of new materials,are widely used in the automotive industry,aerospace and other fields.But its cutting is still mainly rely on the trational way of cutting,cutting quality is not high,seriously affecting the quality of its application.Ultrasonic cutting technology for cutting with no burr,small lateral feed force,cutting without dust,high precision and a series of advantages,is the main development trend of composite cutting.Based on the above reasons,this paper designs an ultrasonic cutting device to realize the cutting of composite materials represented by carbon fiber prepreg,and research and analyze it.First,the ultrasonic cutting device is designed.The device consists of the cutting feed mechanism,the C-axis rotation mechanism,the vacuum adsorption mechanism,and the cutting executive mechanism to cooperate with each other to achieve the cutting function,and the UG is used to model and assemble the parts and carry out the parts.Perform the calculation of parts.The linear motion of each axis of the cutting feed mechanism is realized by the motor-driven ball screw nut.The rotary motion of the C-axis rotating mechanism is realized by the motor-driven worm gear mechanism.The vacuum adsorption mechanism adopts the method of vacuum adsorption to fix the carbon fiber prepreg,calculate the size of the vacuum adsorption force generated by the mechanism,and verify the rationality of the fixing method.The cutting executive mechanism adopts the motor-driven crank-rocker mechanism to control the swing of the ultrasonic cutting knife,controls the infrared thermometer to synchronize the movement with the cutting knife,and adjusts the temperature of the cutting blade in real time through the infrared thermometer and the cooling gun.Secondly,the optimal calculation of the length of the crank rod of the crank rod of the ultrasonic cutting knife is carried out.The simulation is carried out by MATLAB / Simulink software,the simulation process is visualized,get the simulation curve and animation,verify the rocker can achieve the best performance swing.Thirdly,the finite element software ANSYS Workbench is used to analyze the key components of the ultrasonic cutting device,including: static analysis of the Y-axis plate,the appropriate modification of the structure to ensure that the deformation caused by the load does not affect the ball screw nut vice movement.Modal analysis of the Z-axis connector to prevent it from occurring in the work of resonance damage.The Design Exploration module is used to optimize the design of the integrated board,and the size of the integrated board and the weight of the cutting actuator are reduced without increasing the cutting effect,thus improving the cutting precision and cutting quality.Finally,the UG motion simulation module is used to simulate the ultrasonic cutting device of the ball screw nut,and the corresponding motion curve and motion trajectory are obtained to verify that it can achieve the expected path cutting.
