Steel slag is a waste of slag in the process of steel making,low emissions,low efficiency,and great pressure on the environment and the development of the enterprise.The diatomaceous earth has a natural superior nature of light,porosity,and temperature,and it's an ideal material for thermal insulation.Foamed concrete,as a kind of new lightweight building material,is very suitable for partition wall and filling material.On the basis of analyzing the basic features of the steel slag,it is a mechanical chemical effect to activate the steel slag,and then to make the steel residue from the diatomite,and then to make the steel scum,which is the way to use it to exploit the steel slag,and to increase the use of the diatomaceous earth.By steel slag and activation test of basic characteristics research studies have shown that the main mineral composition of tricalcium silicate,dicalcium silicate,calcium,iron,aluminum acid,calcium carbonate,RO phase as well as some functional material.The potential activity of steel slag is excited by the mechanical force chemistry effect,and it is found that the improvement effect of the 120 min of the powder grinding is most obvious,and the slag is the most active.The basic characteristics of diatomaceous earth were studied and it was found that the content of SiO2 in diatomaceous earth was up to80%,mainly in the form of opal,quartz and illite.After calcining and ultrafine grinding and activation of diatomaceous earth,the ordered structure of quartz was damaged,the lattice distortion increased,and the overall activity increased.Meanwhile,the organic impurities contained in diatomaceous earth could be removed by calcining.By single factor test and orthogonal test,the comprehensive consideration of foam concrete products performance,it is concluded that the preparation of steel slag-optimization of diatomite foam concrete mixture ratio?mass percent?:32%steel slag,17%diatomite,cement clinker,slag,gypsum 17%and 6%,28%and 4.5%of the total dry material hydrogen peroxide,and water material ratio was 0.60?water temperature is 37°C?.It's a 3.45 MPa,and it's a total dry density of 796 kg/m3,satisfying JG/T 266-2011,the industry standard of foam concrete,and the demand for the A08 and C3 foam concrete.According to the research on hydration mechanism of steel slag-diatomaceous concrete foam concrete,the decomposition and foaming of hydrogen peroxide makes the slurry expand and forms porous structure in the product.The dissolved SiO2 and Ca?OH?2in the slurry will generate calcium silicate hydrate and calcium aluminate hydrate crystals through hydration.In the case of gypsum addition,calcium aluminate hydrate generated by early hydration and SO42-in gypsum will quickly react to form ettringite?AFt?.Steel slag,desulphurized gypsum and slag are co-excited,and AFt crystal is combined with c-s-h gels to provide strength for foam concrete articles.Using the Image-Pro Plus to analyze the porous structure of the foam concrete,the pore structure has a big impact on the strength of the product and its thermal conductivity.The reasonable porosity can increase the strength of the product,and when the air hole aperture is reasonable,and the blobs are spherical and uniform,the mechanics of the product are optimal;The influence of porosity on the thermal conductivity is dominant,but the pore diameter,roundness,hole size distribution of size distribution is not negligible for foamed concrete thermal conductivity.
