| Polyacrylonitrile(PAN)/zinc oxide(ZnO)nano-composite materials were prepared by impregnation method in this study, then the prepared polyacrylonitrile/ZnO(PAN/ZnO)nano-composite were heat-treated to prepare cyclized polyacrylonitrile/ZnO(CPAN/ZnO)nanocomposites.The CPAN/ZnO nanocomposites were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),UV-vis diffuse reflection spectroscopy(UV-Vis DRS),photoluminescence spectroscopy(PL)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The upstanding electron transport properties of the conjugate structures of CPAN is favorable to the increment in the concentration of the photogenerated carriers and free radical produced by the CPAN/ZnO nanocomposites in the photocatalytic system, and to the decrement of the recombination probability between the photogenerated electrons and holes. The photocatalytic activities of CPAN/ZnO nanocomposites were evaluated by degradation of methyl orange aqueous solution. The effects of the preparation conditions such as mass ratio of PAN and ZnO,the calcination temperature and the reaction time on the photocatalytic activity of CPAN/ZnO nanocomposites under visible light were discussed. The optimum preparation condition is found that the mass ratio of PAN and ZnO is 1:100,the calcination temperature is 270℃,and the calcination time is 1.0 h.The cycle experiments of degradation of methyl orange by CPAN/ZnO nanoparticles was studied. Results show that, the photocatalytic activity of CPAN/ZnO nanocomposite particles does not change with the increasement of times. It showed good stability and application value in the future. Also the mechanism of visible light photocatalytic activity of CPAN/ZnO nanocomposite particles was discussed. The UV light photocatalytic activities of CPAN/ZnO nanocomposites were evaluated by degradation of methyl orange aqueous solution. The effects of the preparation conditions such as mass ratio of PAN and ZnO,the calcination temperature and the reaction time on the photocatalytic activity of CPAN/ZnO nanocomposites under UV-light were discussed. The optimum preparation condition is found that the mass ratio of PAN and ZnO is 1:1000,the calcination temperature is 150℃,and the calcination time is 30 min.The cycle experiments of degradation of methyl orange by CPAN/ZnO nanoparticles were studied. The mechanism of UV light photocatalytic activity of CPAN/ZnO nanocomposite particles was discussed. |
