Over the past two decades,nano science and technology have been development rapidly,nano materials have been widely used in micro component and thin film coating in micro electro mechanical system,special functional materials,such as super hard materials,brittle materials,porous materials,micro silicon device surface films and coatings of tribological testing,biological tissue in the teeth,bones,the mechanical property testing of the cell tissue,the pressure on the solder joints in the field of engineering technology,etc.With the deepening of understanding,the research of nano materials has been gradually extended to the field of mechanical properties information from the surface of the observation.Due to the mechanical properties is one of the most important basic performance parameters of the materials,It is very urgent to understand the relation and difference between the bulk material and the macroscopic mechanical properties,and hope to get the corresponding theoretical data to guide the design of new material and new structure.But for nanomechanical characterization research does not see more,with the development of nanotechnology,the nanomechanical will not only become one of the most important part of the mechanical field,but also the important areas in the future we want to in-depth study.The understanding of nano materials has a very important guiding significance for its use.The study of Force-Displacement curve of materials can obtain relevant mechanical property information inherent of the materials and it’s like a"fingerprint"of one kind of materials.In this paper,Mechanical properties testing of different nanowires are main jobs.How to solve the elastic modulus as the most important object in this study,during the experiment,the scanning electron microscopy and scanning probe microscopy(SEM/SPM)combined testing system were used,through three point bending method,the conclusion is drawn through the test,then the analysis and discussion are carried out.In this paper the testing sample and main content research are as follows:1.Taking SiC nanowires as the experimental research sample and in this study the nanowires have natural oxide layer.The SiC nanowires with different oxide thickness were obtained by chemical method using 1 mol/L NaOH,then SEM/SPM combined system and three point bending technique have uesd to calculate the elastic modules through the composite module method.By the analysis and discussion of the result,the elastic modulus of the SiC nanowires with different thickness of oxide layer have a certain impact on the pure SiC nanowires,and the impact of the trend is obvious,and cannot be ignored.2.Using C@Ag nanowires as experiment sample.In the experiment,firstly,C@Ag nanowires were synthesized by a certain method used AgNO3 and C6H12O6,then their characterizations were carried out.Using the SEM/SPM combined system and three point bending method to test the elastic modules of C@Ag nanowires,take the past mechanical properties of Ag nanowires in articles as reference and through analysis and discussion,at last in this paper the advantage of the composite nanowires were conclude.
