Pollution of heavy metal ions seriously endangers ecosystem and human health.Polyphenylene sulfide resin is good chemical and thermal stable materials. In this thesis, four new effective and environmental friendly multi-amino functionalized absorbents were synthesized.Their adsorption properties for removing heavy metal ions were investigated. Moreover,a new Schiff base compound, acenaphthoquinone bis(diphenylmethlenehydrazone)(L),was synthesized and employed as a chemosensor for detecting metal ions Ag(Ⅰ)and Cu(Ⅰ).(1)Four new multi-amino functionalized absorbents(P-2,P-3,P-4 and P-5)were prepared and characterized.Polyphenylene sulfide was grafted respectively by ethylenediamine, moroxydine, diethylenetriamine and amino guanidine for removal of heavy metal ions. They were characterized by FT-IR,EA and XRD.(2)Adsorption properties of four absorbents for removing heavy metal ions Pb(Ⅱ),Cd(Ⅱ),Cr(Ⅲ),Cu(Ⅱ)and Ni(Ⅱ)were investigated.Highest adsorption capacity of P-2 for Pb(Ⅱ),Cd(Ⅱ),Cr(Ⅲ),Cu(Ⅱ)and Ni(Ⅱ)was 142.25,78.25,88.73,97.75 and 51.28 mg/g,respectively.The highest adsorption capacity of P-3 for Pb(Ⅱ),Cd(Ⅱ),Cr(Ⅲ),Cu(Ⅱ)and Ni(Ⅱ)was 186.92,189.75,120.05,119.33 and 134.05 mg/g,respectively.The highest adsorption capacity of P-4 for Pb(Ⅱ),Cd(Ⅱ),Cr(Ⅲ),Cu(Ⅱ)and Ni(Ⅱ)was 184.16,143.68,125.31,68.98 and 57.47 mg/g,respectively.The highest adsorption capacity of P-5 for Pb(Ⅱ),Cd(Ⅱ),Cr(Ⅲ),Cu(Ⅱ)and Ni(Ⅱ)was 175.13,133.51,83.19,79.05 and 58.72 mg/g,respectively.Their adsorption isotherm of Pb(Ⅱ),Cd(Ⅱ),Cr(Ⅲ),Cu(Ⅱ)and Ni(Ⅱ)was best described by the Langmuir adsorption model.Their adsorption kinetics was in accordance with the pseudo-second-order kinetic equation.Adsorption rate of four absorbents for Pb(Ⅱ),Cd(Ⅱ),Cr(Ⅲ),Cu(Ⅱ)and Ni(Ⅱ)was mainly determined by the chemical adsorption process.(3)A new Schiff base compound, acenaphthoquinone bis(diphenylmethlenehydrazone)(L),was synthesized for using as the chemosensor for detecting Ag(I)and Cu(I).Experimental results show that the ligand exhibited high selectivity and sensitivity for detecting Ag(Ⅰ)and Cu(Ⅰ).Crystal structures and theoretical calculation results suggest that the ligand would be a good chemosensor for Ag(Ⅰ)and Cu(Ⅰ).
