Bio-trickling filter is a traditional biofilm process. In recent years, the application of bio-trickling filter with low energy consumption has been paid more attention to in wastewater treatment. As the demand for nitrogen and phosphorus removal in wastewater treatment is becoming higher and higher, improving the effect of nitrogen and phosphorus removal has become one of the difficult problems to be solved by bio-trickling filter. The bio-trickling filter was used to treat domestic wastewater to enhance the nitrogen and phosphorus removal in this study. The removal efficiency of nitrogen and phosphorus was analyzed.First, the adsorption properties of four kinds fillers of bio-trickling filter for NH4+-N and phosphorus were explored under different pH conditions, then the effects of three groups of parallel reactor on film formation property and treatment as well as three stage aerobic /facultative /aerobic bio-trickling filter reactor's ability to treat domestic wastewater under different influent organic loading conditions were investigated, obtain the optimum organic load.Research results show that:(1)By comparing the adsorption effect of four kinds of fillers on NH4+-N and phosphorus under different pH conditions,it was found that the synergetic zeolite and sponge iron were the best effect of the bio-trickling filter on the ammonia and nitrogencontaining pollutants in domestic sewage select.(2)In the phase of biofilm formation, the 3# bio-trickling filter packing material combination mode is inclined to the zeolite +sponge iron +coke, the removal of the pollutant removal efficiency is best. The influent COD and NH4+-N concentrations in each reactor were 286~338mg/L and 29.68~43.97mg/L,respectively,after running for 15 days, the removal rate of COD and NH4+-N has reached more than 60%,the effluent quality is stable, and the film formation is successful.(3)Three stage(aerobic/facultative/aerobic)series of bio-trickling filters to treat domestic wastewater enhanced nitrogen and phosphorus removal, different influent organic loading of simulated sewage the conventional water quality indexes removal have obvious effect. The concentrations of influent COD,NH4+-N,TN and TP are 297.76~808.00 mg/L,29.76~43.76 mg/L,31.07~46.74 mg/L and 3.44~4.58 mg/L,respectively.The contribution rate of the first stage to COD,NH4+-N and TN were 45.7%,49.9% and 38%,respectively,and the contribution rate of the second stage were 47.3%,41.3% and 58.4%,respectively.Total contribution rate of the first and the second stage were respectively 93%,91.2% and 91.4%.The contribution rate was.The first and third phosphorus removal rates were 42.6% and 48.8%,with a total of $91.4%.The optimal organic loading of COD,NH4+-N,TN and TP in the three stage bio-trickling filter system was 0.328~0.392kg/(m3·d).
