In recent years, with the rapid development of the global economy, the problems of climate and environment have become more and more prominent.Greenhouse gas emissions have increased dramatically, causing global warming. As the largest developing country,China’s economic strength has been increasing;the energy consumption and the total amount of carbon emissions have been greatly increased. As the international greenhouse gas emissions data calculation is based on the production side rather than the consumer side,as the world’s factory, when China is delivering goods to the world,it faces a huge pressure of carbon emissions. The experts and scholars at home and abroad mainly use the life cycle method and the input-output method to estimate the Embodied Carbon, which is mainly based on the competitive input-output table, ignoring the impact of products imported for the calculation results.Using the non-competitive input-output table of China and US provided by WIOD,to calculate the implied carbon emissions between China and the United States, and drive the factors of China’s export to the United States implied carbon emissions growth. The main purpose of the study is to reveal the real situation and change trend of carbon emission behind Sino-US trade through empirical analysis, and analyze the problems existing in the process of trade between China and the United States, objective analysis the reasons for the growth of China’s carbon emissions,to provide direction for China’s economic growth, foreign trade and energy conservation and emission reduction.Based on China and the United States 1995-2011 years of non-competitive input-output table,to analyze Sino-US trade implied carbon emissions and influencing factors.Firstly, analyze the current situation of Sino-US trade and carbon emission;secondly, the input-output method is used to calculate the implied carbon in China and the United States trade. From three aspects of China exports implied carbon to the United States,China imports implied carbon from the United States and Sino-US trade implied carbon balance to analyze.;finally, using the combination of SDA and LMDI factor decomposition method,China’s export trade to the United States implied carbon growth change is divided into 5 factors of energy structure, energy efficiency, production technology, export structure and export size, and calculate the influence of the 5 factors, analyzes the Chinese export to the United States implied carbon growth changes were. The empirical results show that export of embodied carbon based mainly on the first and second industry, the second industry export sector is the trade department of pollution, and the third industry sectors are mostly clean trade industry, energy efficiency as the main negative effects of influencing factors, energy structure, export structure is weak negative effect, export scale is the main positive effect of influencing factors, production technology is weak positive effect. To the end, this paper proposes to optimize the energy structure, develop clean energy;promote technical development, improve energy efficiency;adjust the development strategy, optimize the export structure;increase publicity efforts and develop low carbon economy.
