In the machining process of five-axis complex surfaces,reasonable feed-rate profile is an important parameter that affects surface quality,stability and efficiency of process,.General CAD/CAM post-processing set parameters such as machine structure,axis travel limitation etc.It's not easy to obtain physical constraints of machine tools,so normally no verification of the physical constraints.Process with given feed-rate may exceed limit of single-axis servo drives.This will affect the quality of processing.Based on the above problems,this paper present an Creeping Snake Algorithm(CSA)to simulate and verify single axis velocity & acceleration limit.The length of creeping snake is the feed increment of 0.02 ms,it can creep on 3 division tool path,keep the mid-position of snake on tool-path point,discrete two points at head and tail's position to calculate kinematic data.Analysis single axis driver constraint.Introduce feed-rate profile optimize indexes.In the process of feed-rate optimization,Cut locations are divided into single-point speed limit and interval speed limit,and the interval speed limit is further divided into monotonous interval and fluctuating interval,respectively.A method for recognizing the speed fluctuation interval is proposed,and accessibility,noise reduction and smoothing processing are performed for the speed curve of the feed speed fluctuation interval.Finally,a smooth feed speed curve satisfying the physical constraints of the machine tool is obtained.Design and development feed-rate offline refinement software.It can optimize the feed-rate profile according to the physical constraints and velocity fluctuations.Provides visualization tools that can quickly locate tool trajectories that exceed physical constraints of the machine and can be refinement manuallyThrough experimental processing proof use iScope feed-rate refinement software optimize feed-rate profile can significantly improve surface finish.It is proved that the proposed evaluation index can measure the adaptability of tool path,structure and physical properties of five-axis CNC machine tools,and the refinement of index items can effectively improve processing quality.
