As the global greenhouse effect becomes worse and worse,carbon emission of shipping industry has attracted great attention from all walks of life.China responds carbon emission reduction policies positively,and have set up emission control areas in the Pearl River Delta,Yangtze river Delta and other water areas soon.The implement of emission reduction mechanisms brings a great challenge for ship design in the future.From the perspective of green ship design,combined with marine emission trading scheme(METS)and life cycle assessment(LCA),this paper establishes a green degree evaluation system for green technology selection of the river-sea-going container vessel.This paper provides a new thought to evaluate the green degree of ships in the early design phase.Paper’s main work is as follows:(1)Seven main carbon reduction market mechanisms in the international shipping industry are analyzed,and the principles of the shipping greenhouse gas fund mechanism(GHG FUND)and marine emission trading scheme(METS)are compared.Through the marginal analysis method,it is found that METS has more emission reduction potential and market advantages.With traditional ship economic principle and METS,a low-carbon economic analysis model is established to analyze the influence of METS on different river-sea-going container vessels,including economic speed,annual volume of traffic and economic performance parameters.Then through the marginal cost calculation model of the carbon emission,the marginal cost curves of specific ship green technologies are calculated and analyzed.(2)Combined with characteristics of ships and ship-LCA theory,through optimizing the LCA method,a ship environmental assessment method for the selection of the green ship technologies is put forward to evaluate specific environmental implications effectively.Then,for the hydrodynamic performance optimization,the dual fuel power system and the lightweight structure design,a sensitivity analysis of greenhouse gas emission reduction is done(3)Based on ship green degree evaluation theory,through the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process(ahp),a green degree evaluation system is established for river-sea-going container vessels to analyze environmental influence,technical performance and low-carbon economy of ship forms synthetically.Then optimization ship forms which adopt different green technologies are compared and analyzed to verify the reliability of this quantitative analysis of green degree.It provides theoretical basis for green ship design in the future.
