Ceramsite production process is divided into several steps,such as the drying,compounding and granulation of material,and the drying,roasting and cooling of the raw material.The roasting process affects the quality of ceramsite most,and the rotary kiln is the key equipment in the roasting link.The traditional rotary kiln is bigger,and the kiln is heavy,with low material heat transfer efficiency and high energy consumption.The kiln body of trilobal rotary kiln is lesser,and the kiln body is more light and simple,with high heat transfer efficiency,energy conservation and environmental protection.In our country,the research of the trilobal ceramsite rotary kiln is in infancy link,so this study to trilobal rotary kiln is of significance.Firstly,cutting out two-dimensional section of the kiln,and using VOF model in Fluent to simulate and analysis the motor process of internal material.The better motion model of the material is tumbling in the kiln,the material move under the friction with rotary kiln wall raise and tumble constantly,to update the material free surface,the surface renewal process is very slow;the material movement in trilobal rotary kiln is not only driven by the inner wall friction,but also raised by three columns circular lined leaves.Through comparative study,in the situation of the same kiln clearance area and filling rate,the trilobal kiln has greater material free surface area,and better heat transfer efficiency.Secondly,this paper focus on the theory research of fuel burning temperature field in trilobal kiln.Increasing the primary wind speed can promote wind-oil mixing,improve temperature in the kiln,but too high velocity will bring too much cold air into the kiln,it will reduce the kiln temperature,the primary wind speed in 50 to 60 meters per second is relatively appropriate;Raising the wind temperature appropriately can improve the overall temperature,but too high temperature can also make the oil burning concentrated near the kiln head,it will shorten the life of burner and burning journey,causing the temperature reduction of preheater section,the primary wind temperature in 200 degrees is more appropriate;and suitable swirl vane angle is about 30 degrees,the secondary wind speed in the 150 meters per second is more appropriate,and when the fuel injection angle is 15 degrees,it has better effect.
