In this paper,two different kinds of high oil absorption resin were prepared with butyl methacrylate(BMA),butyl acrylate(BA)and laury methacrylate(LMA)as the monomers,and were synthesized by adding hydrophobic different morphology aluminum oxide,respectively.The characteristics of metal oxide with different morphology and the absorption properties and reusability of composite resins were analyzed.Biomorphic magnesium oxide was prepared by impregnation-calcinations method using as cotton a template.Then,the surface of magnesium oxide were modified with vinyl triethoxy silane(A151),the result showed that the surface of modified samples has superhydrophobic property.The composite resin mixed magnesium oxide was synthesized by suspension polymerization.According to the results of orthogonal experimental,the optimum technology conditions of composite resin were as follows: pore forming agent was 50 wt%,dispersant was 5%,initiator was 0.5%,cross-linking agent was 2%,and MgO nanoparticles 2%,respectively.The oil absorption capacities for carbon tetrachloride,chloroform,toluene and gasoline were 25.23 g/g,28.22 g/g,15.13 g/g and 10.44 g/g,respectively.The kinetics of the absorption properties for carbon tetrachloride of composite resin showed that the composite resin complies with the quasi-second-order kinetic model,and the composite resin was proved to have an excellent reusability after 6 cycles.The zinc oxide nanoneedle were prepared by hydrothermal method and modified with A151.The result showed that the surface of zinc oxide nanoneedle modified by the modifier has hydrophobic properties.The composite resin with zinc oxide was synthesized by suspension polymerization.According to the results of orthogonal experimental,the optimum technology conditions of composite resin were as follows: pore forming agent was 50%,dispersant was 7%,initiator was 0.5%,cross-linking agent was 2%,and ZnO nanoneedle was 2%,respectively.The corresponding oil absorption capacities for carbon tetrachloride,chloroform,kerosene,gasoline and toluene were 35.01 g/g,31.63 g/g,9.42 g/g,12.55 g/g and 18.7 g/g,respectively.The kinetics of the absorption properties for carbon tetrachloride of composite resin showed that the composite resin complies with the quasi-second-order kinetic model,the antibacterial activity of the synthesized composite resins mixed ZnO nanoneedle were confirmed against E.coli and S.aureus and the composite resins were proved to have an excellent reusability after 6 cycles.
