Study On Influence Factors Of Environmental Information Disclosure By Listed Companies Based On Key Sewage Units

In recent years,with the development of industry,China’s economic level has been continuously improved,but the environmental pollution that followed has become more serious.Global warming,smog pollution,frequent environmental accidents,etc.,have led to extensive discussions among all sectors of society.Corporate stakeholders are beginning to pay attention to corporate environmental pollution emissions and environmental protection measures,requiring companies to disclose detailed environmental information.Based on this,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to assess the status quo of corporate environmental information disclosure and to explore the influencing factors of corporate environmental information disclosure.This paper selected 247 listed companies belonging to key sewage units as research objects.From the perspective of corporate environmental information disclosure compliance,constructed the index system of environmental information disclosure,used the content analysis method to evaluate the status quo of environmental information disclosure of sample enterprises.Through multiple linear regression analysis and threshold regression analysis,the influencing factors of enterprise environmental information disclosure are explored.The results showed that:(1)the quantity and quality of enterprise environmental information disclosure have been significantly improved.(2)the level of environmental information disclosure of listed companies is greatly affected by external supervision of enterprises,but is less affected by internal control of enterprises.(3)different influencing factors have different degrees of influence on enterprise environmental information disclosure level in different regions.(4)for enterprises of different sizes,the influencing factors of environmental information disclosure vary greatly.Based on the above research conclusions,this paper puts forward relevant policy recommendations.The innovation points of this paper are mainly reflected in the following three aspects:(1)this paper selects listed companies that are key sewage units as sample enterprises,which has strong typicality.(2)it is of great practical significance to construct an environmental information disclosure index system from the perspective of compliance of enterprise environmental information disclosure.(3)based on the idea of classification research,applying threshold regression model to study environmental information disclosure,the research results have a little applicability.The deficiency of this paper is to build the index system of environmental information disclosure lack of environmental information disclosure authenticity,comprehensive considerations,and the sample period is shorter,can only reflect changes in the short term trend and impact,in the future research should also construct dimension of index system and to improve the sample data of time series.
