With the rapid development of society,it is impossible to meet the efficiency requirement of the manual inspection of the surface defects of flat glass,so all industries have put forward the automatic detection requirements for detection technology.The emergence of image detection technology for flat glass defect detection provides a good means.In this paper,flat glass as the object to be detected.The surface defects in this paper mainly include scratches and impurities.The characteristic parameters of the defects on the surface of plate glass are important indexes for evaluating whether the plate glass is qualified.Therefore,automatic,real-time and accurate identification of the types of scratches and impurities,Has important engineering application value and significance.This paper explores the application of image detection technology in flat glass defect detection.The system uses area array CCD camera(model IK200M-12)as the image acquisition device,designs the illumination system,and constructs the image acquisition experimental device.The image acquisition system realized the interface with the computer through the IEEE1394 bus.In the VC++ software,the upper software was developed by object-oriented and modular programming.The original image was corrected based on the contrast of the original image.The threshold image is segmented by the histogram,and the preliminary binarization image is obtained.The voting filter algorithm is developed to realize the removal of the discrete points,and the binarized image after noise reduction is obtained.On the basis of the conventional mark method,According to the phenomenon of scratches"fracture",the recognition algorithm of joint is developed.According to the national standard of glass defect,the recognition and analysis of scratches and impurity defects are realized.Through the development of software system output defect detection and statistical analysis of the characteristics of the results.IK200M-12 camera imaging ofhigh-performance,high-speed data transmission,and the upper software using object-oriented,modular programming technology to ensure that the system hardware and software scalability,so that the system can be very good to meet the flat Glass automatic detection requirements for the development of engineering applications of glass defect detection automation equipment laid the foundation.
