China is a country that is very short of potassium,and the proven potash resources account for only 0.5%of the world’s total.Because of the lack of potassium resources,potassium fertilizer production is limited.At present,50%of the consumption of potash fertilizer in China still needs to be met through import.China’s potash is mainly used in agricultural production including potassium chloride,potassium sulfate,potassium magnesium sulfate and insoluble mineral production of potassium potassium calcium fertilizer etc..Because there are more kinds of elements in potassium sulphate and magnesium fertilizer,the application of potassium sulphate magnesium fertilizer is more obvious than that of potassium sulphate alone in grain crops or fruits and vegetables.The development of potassium magnesium sulphate fertilizer can not only alleviate the shortage of potassium fertilizer in China,but also benefit the efficient utilization of potassium resources.The experimental research and utilization of the abandoned potassium resources and Magnesium Sulfate resources in the drainage salt salted field,turning waste into treasure,makes the resources effective and rational,and has significant social and economic benefits.The industry of potassium magnesium sulphate is still in its initial stage in China,and many domestic production enterprises are facing many difficulties.At present,Xinjiang Lop Nor investment limited liability company 100 thousand tons of potash fertilizer of potassium and magnesium on production in 2010 after successful commissioning,after stable operation can be produced in accordance with national standards of potassium magnesium fertilizer products,changes in the device is the main objective condition,higher summer temperatures affect the production stability and the return did not meet the design requirements,resulting in system the yield is low,did not reach the design capacity.In order to solve this problem,on the basis of laboratory experiments,were used to process of grinding-flotation process of grinding conversion,conversion of flotation were prepared by potassium magnesium fertilizer,horizontal comparison test,provide the basis for the process parameters on the design technology of magnesium potassium sulfate fertilizer.Through the"conversion flotation process",the yield of potassium and magnesium fertilizer is 22.28%and the ratio of mineral processing is 4.49.The quality of potassium magnesium fertilizer products is K+16.92%,Na+1.10%,Mg2+5.85%,Cl-1.74%and SO42-43.84%.The quality of qualified products of agricultural potassium magnesium sulphate fertilizer is obtained,and the yield of potassium ion is 65.21%.
