In recent years,kitchen cooking fumes has became a focus topic with the improvement of people’s health awareness.Studies have shown that cooking fumes contain hydrocarbons,aldehydes,ketones and other harmful substances,which seriously threaten the health of the chef.The range hood can pump the fumes to the outside quickly and reduce the harm to the chef.As a component of the range hood,the soot sieve plays an important role in the efficiency of the fume purification.However,due to its lipophilic properties,the sieve adheres a large amount of grease in a short time,which increase the exhaust resistance and reduce the efficiency of fume purification.Besides,working in the fume environments for a long time,the sieve will also have a certain degree of corrosion.In order to solve the above problems,the stainless steel and aluminum sieve of the range hood are treated to reduce the wettability,adhesion to the oil and improve its corrosion resistance.Morphology and composition of the sieve surfaces were analyzed with scanning electron microscope,atomic force microscope,X-ray diffractometer and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.Surface wettability was measured with contact angle meter.Corrosion resistance of the sample was studied with electrochemical workstation.The stainless steel sieve was etched by FeCl3 solution and calcined at high temperature,then modified with FAS to prepare superhydrophobic and high oleophobic stainless steel sieve.Results showed that the surface was covered with micro-nano uneven structure of different shapes and sizes;the modified sieve was covered with a layer of FAS molecular film and the contact angle with water,glycerol,diethylene glycol,soybean oil was 152°,147.3°,145°,140.5°,the rolling angle with deionized water,glycerol,soybean oil was 0.5°,2°,8°;the sample has excellent stability and durability in natural environment,high temperature environment and different pH solutions;the hydrophobic oleophobic stainless steel sieve has larger impedance spectrum radius,self-corrosion voltage and lower self-corrosion current density,the maximum corrosion inhibition rates in 3.5%NaCl solution,pH=4 acidic solution and pH=10 alkaline solution were 79.6%,83.9%and 99.8%,and has excellent corrosion resistance in the three test solutions.The aluminum sieve was etched by FeCl3 solution,and subjected to boiling water sealing treatment,and then modified with FAS to prepare superhydrophobic and high oleophobic aluminum sieve.Results showed that the surface of the aluminum sieve was covered with a layer of micro-nano rough structure;a layer of AlO(OH)were grown on the surface of the sieve after boiling water sealing treatment and the FAS molecular film is bonded to the surface after modifying;the contact angle with water,glycerol,diethylene glycol,soybean oil was 151°,148°,143°,140.75°and the rolling angle with deionized water,glycerol,soybean oil was 1°,5°,15°;the sample has excellent hydrophobicity and oleophobicity after being placed for a period of time in the natural environment,high temperature environment and different pH solutions;the electrochemical test parameters of the treated aluminum sieve are obviously improved,and have better corrosion resistance and lower corrosion rate,the maximum corrosion inhibition rates in 3.5%NaCl solution,pH=4acidic solution and pH=10 alkaline solution were 85.5%,99.4%,and 95.5%.
