The South-to-North Water Diversion Project has far-reaching significance for alleviating water shortage in northern China. The water quality guarantee in water transfer is a significant and influential measure for water security in water-receiving areas. In the East Route Project of Shuishui,Shuangwangcheng Reservoir and Dagu Reservoir are the important storage reservoirs in Shandong Province on the east line of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project. They are responsible for accepting the water from Nansi Lake and Dongping Lake to the cities along the route such as Binzhou,Qingdao,Weifang and Dezhou. The water supply task and water transfer project make the water quality index and water temperature dynamics along the line change. The phytoplankton is very sensitive to environmental changes.Based on the functional group to study the growth of algae, the distribution characteristics and succession law can be more directly grasped. The responsive changes of phytoplankton to environmental changes,in order to better improve water quality and prevent cyanobacterial blooms,so this study analyzes the phytoplankton populations in the two reservoirs from the perspective of functional groups, and protects the water resources of the reservoir.Provide scientific basis with management. In this paper, the phytoplankton populations of two reservoirs were studied from January 2016 to December 2018.The algae in the two reservoirs were classified according to the classification characteristics of functional groups. These were analyzed by exploring the evolution of the functional groups of the two reservoirs. The growth characteristics of functional groups were characterized by Non-metric Multi-dimensional Scaling(NMDS),and the differences in the structure and evolution of the two reservoirs were clarified.Redundancy analysis(RDA)was used to explore the reservoirs. The main environmental factors for the evolution of the functional group are as follows:(1)A total of 181 species of 78 genera of phytoplankton were detected in Datun Reservoir, which were divided into 26 functional groups. The dominant functional groups were D,X1 and MP.Shuangwangcheng Reservoir detected 208 species of 90 genera of phytoplankton. The 28 functional groups, the dominant functional groups are S1,D,and X1.(2)The similarity of phytoplankton functional groups in Datun Reservoir and Shuangwangcheng Reservoir is more than 40%.The similarity between the two reservoirs in sampling time can be roughly divided into three categories. Most of the categories are from two reservoirs in winter. In the spring season, the functional group similarity is above 50%;the second category is from the summer and autumn of the two reservoirs, the functional group similarity in this category is above 60%;the sample in category three comes from the two reservoirs, the sample of this category The similarity is above 50%,and the similarity between samples at the same time or from the same reservoir is higher. It can be seen that the similarity of phytoplankton functional groups in the two reservoirs is high.Different water bodies show similarity in similar algae samples, and algae samples with distant sampling time have similar similarity, similarity. Most of the higher groups are from similar sampling times of the same reservoir.(3)The environmental factors that have a strong influence on the functional group structure in Dagu Reservoir are temperature,pH,water depth and nitrate nitrogen. The growth of main functional groups D and X1 in Datun Reservoir was negatively correlated with ammonia nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen,pH and water depth, and positively correlated with total phosphorus concentration. The factors that have a strong influence on the functional group structure in Shuangwangcheng Reservoir are temperature,pH,nitrate nitrogen and dissolved oxygen. The growth of the main functional groups D and S1 in Shuangwangcheng Reservoir showed a positive correlation with the permanganate index and pH,and negatively correlated with the nitrogen nutrient;the growth of the main functional group XI was positively correlated with water temperature and pH.Negatively correlated with total phosphorus concentration. The effects of total nitrogen concentration and N/P on the evolution of functional groups in the reservoirs are not obvious. The total nitrogen concentration in the reservoir is too high. When N/P exceeds 7,the total phosphorus becomes the eutrophication of the water body. The main factor.
