Research On Public Participation In Environmental Management Under The Concept Of Green Development

Green development is an important strategic direction to strengthen the eco-environmental protection work in the new era and an important driving force to promote the transformation of national development.Reflecting the historical responsibility for the sustainable development of the Chinese nation,the concept of green development not only responds to people's fervent expectations,but also echoes the call for global sustainable development.It is a theoretical innovation of Marxism in contemporary China.As the main force of green development,the public is an influential force on which environmental protection depends.Through its own participation,it can not only supervise the government,but also influence government decision-making,promote environmental protection,and maintain its living environment.This paper mainly uses the methods of system analysis and questionnaire to carry on the research.It is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which discusses the research background and significance of public participation in environmental governance under the concept of green development,clarifies the research status at home and abroad,introduces the main research methods,and constructs the logical structure of the paper.The second part defines the concepts of green development,public participation and so on,and focuses on the theoretical basis of public participation in environmental governance under the concept of green development,so as to construct a theoretical basis for the research of this paper.The third part sorts out the situation of public participation in environmental governance,introduces the main practices of public participation in environmental governance,and also provides a practical reference for exploring the main problems affecting public participation in environmental governance and proposing corresponding solutions.The fourth part is the path selection of public participation in environmental governance under the concept of green development.First,draw lessons from Western foreign experience,such as participating in environmental NGO and establishing a strict environmental law system.Second,deepen the concept of public participation in environmental governance,including achieving multi-level professional environmental education,enhancing publicity and promoting green lifestyle.Third,reinforce the system construction of public participation in environmental governance,such as improving the environmental taxation supervision system,establishing a diversified environmental accountability mechanism,and steadily advancing the national park system.Last,innovate the practice mode of public participation in environmental governance,such as open environmental education practice centers;implement economic incentive compensation to strengthen social incentives;upgrade environmental industry development to achieve source reduction.
