Study On The Application Of Design Elements In Modern Cheongsam Of The Republic Of China

Cheongsam plays an important role in the history of Chinese clothing.Although it has only been a hundred years,people who love cheongsam are crazy about their short and splendid history This period of history is particularly important and brilliant in the period of the Republic of China in the early to middle century.This is the period when the cheongsam was born and flourished.The cheongsam of this period represents the typical beauty of Chinese women and is the perfect combination of classical and era.We used to call this kind of cheongsam the National Cheongsam of the Republic of China.This paper takes the evolution of cheongsam as the key research object.devotes itself to the typical style and design elements of the cheongsam of the Republic of China,as well as the application of these elements in the contemporary cheongsam,finds the problems in the contemporary cheongsam,and puts forward the ways to improve it.Since its birth,the Republic of China cheongsam has been the focus of attention of researchers in the history of fashion and costume.It is not difficult to find controversial reports and expository articles on various aspects of cheongsam from newspapers and magazines in the Republic of China.Even now,there are still a large number of cheongsam researchers who have published monographs or papers to study cheongsam from many perspectives.Based on the study of a large number of inherited objects of the Cheongsam of the Republic of China,this paper synthesizes the research methods of ancient and modern researchers at home and abroad,and summarizes three main research approaches: physical research,historical image research and related literature research.Each way can be used as a single research method for the development and application of cheongsam,and the combination of the three organically makes the evidence of the rheological study of cheongsam more abundant and conclusive through the demonstration and supplement of each other.The objective physical data and image analysis combined with abstract text narration make the study of the typical style of the National Cheongsam more detailed and accurate,and the description of the whole development context more clear and coherent,so that the evolution track of the National Cheongsam can be more accurately grasped in detail and in the whole.Based on this research method,the author has read a large number of documents,a large number of publications in the Republic of China and the popularization of photographic technology,which made the image materials circulated so far in the Republic of China very rich.Among them,A large number of old photos of women wearingcheongsams at different times and pictures published in magazines have become the most intuitive reflection of the characteristics of cheongsam at that time.The strong evidence,together with the popularity of women’s magazines and the large number of real-time reports of newspaper supplements on women’s clothing,makes the literature research play a qualitative role in explaining the change of the cheongsam of the Republic of China.Based on the research of the typical Chinese qipao style form,the establishment of the republic of China of the typical style and characteristics of qipao,mastered the elements of the republic of China the Chinese dress design,as well as in primary and secondary to elements in the design of modern cheongsam grasp cheongsam attribute characteristics,to establish a system design method,the republic of China,the Chinese dress design elements can be combined with contemporary aesthetic temperament and interest in young women,at last,through design application to express cheongsam style typical of the republic of China and design elements in the process of modern women cheongsam design application.Taking the typical style of cheongsam in the republic of China as the object,through analysis and research,a new understanding of the primary and secondary nature of design elements in the design of modern cheongsam is formed,which is conducive to the innovation of design elements through design techniques and then to the application of modern cheongsam design clothing design,so as to improve the design defects of modern cheongsam.
