Pressure sensitive adhesives are a class of low modulus systems consisting of linear flexible matrix resins,plasticizers,tackifiers,etc.,which are capable of producing special viscoelastic properties through dissolution,dispersion or hot melt processes,as well as liquid viscous properties and Solid elastic properties are widely used as fine chemical products in bonding sites such as tapes,labels,automotive interiors,packaging,and fixing.One of the uses is to bond between the layers of the flat panel display.This is due to the near-infrared absorbing optical filter film(which can filter the near-infrared rays released by the flat-panel display,so as to avoid the interference of the near-infrared remote control or the infrared communication port).The resin has a high glass transition temperature and has no bonding property,and requires pressure.The sensitive glue performs bonding between the respective filter layers and the display.At present,in the manufacturing design and commercial mass production of display products,acrylate pressure sensitive adhesive is generally used to adhere the filter film to the glass substrate,which additionally adds a layer of adhesive bonding layer,and on the other hand,increases The precision coating times lengthen the preparation cycle and reduce the production efficiency;on the one hand,the thickness of the finished product of the flat panel display is increased,which is contrary to the current development demand for the "light and thin" of the flat panel display.This thesis aims to select the best near-infrared absorbing dye and disperse the near-infrared absorbing dye in the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to make the pressure-sensitive adhesive as the carrier of the near-infrared absorbing dye without affecting the dye performance.To achieve good filtration of near-infrared rays,a pressure-sensitive adhesive capable of absorbing near-infrared optical filter film has been developed,and the pressure-sensitive adhesive has good bonding performance.moist heat resistance and aging resistance.The specific research work is as follows:1.Performance tests on humidity resistance.high temperature resistance,absorption range,and transmittance of two kinds of commonly used near-infrared absorbing dyes such as phthalocyanine dyes and diimmonium salt dyes.It has been determined that diammonium salt dyes have better performance as near-infrared absorbing dyes for flat panel displays.2.The diimmonium salt dye is difficult to be compatible with ordinary polyacrylate pressure sensitive adhesive.After drying,the diimmonium salt will be precipitated from the acrylate pressure sensitive adhesive.The effect of the content of viscous monomer on the compatibility of pressure sensitive adhesive and diammonium salt was studied experimentally.After eliminating the feasibility of adding polar component,the content of non-polar butyl acrylate was increased.compatibility.3.Using a new mechanism to increase the peel strength,replacing the traditional pressure-sensitive adhesive relies on the soft monomer long-chain alkyl to provide the peel strength,redesigned the structure of the polyacrylate pressure-sensitive adhesive,using alkoxy and glass The condensation reaction between the surface silicon hydroxy groups effectively improves the peel strength of the pressure sensitive adhesive,and compensates for the problem that the peeling strength is lowered due to the decrease of the viscous monomer content.4.Theoretically analyze the effects of copolymer composition,copolymer structure,molecular weight and molecular weight distribution,chemical cross-linking and physical cross-linking on the properties of acrylate pressure-sensitive adhesives,and study the basic adhesion characteristics,physical and chemical properties of pressure-sensitive adhesives.Resistance to peeling,initial tack,creep resistance,etc.By selecting different types and amounts of raw materials,improving the compatibility between polyacrylate pressure sensitive adhesive and diammonium salt dye,balancing pressure sensitive adhesive Three performance indicators(initial tack,peel strength,holding strength).At the same time,we found that the optical filter film prepared by the pressure sensitive adhesive was poor in aging resistance at 80°C.The experimental analysis showed that the diimonium salt dye was oxidized by the free radical decomposed by the residual initiator.The pressure sensitive adhesive sample turns yellow and the aging resistance is poor.The method of prolonging the reaction time significantly improves the aging resistance of the pressure sensitive adhesive.The modification of the common acrylate pressure-sensitive adhesive enables the pressure-sensitive adhesive to be compatible with the diimmonium salt-based near-infrared absorbing dye,and can simultaneously have the large adhesive properties of the pressure-sensitive adhesive,so that the production cycle of the flat panel display is shortened and precision The number of coatings is halved,the production cost is reduced,and the manufacturing efficiency of the filter film is improved,which has important research significance for the development of "light and thin" flat panel display devices.
