Research On Profitability Evaluation Of Thermal Power Enterprises Under Low Carbon Constraints

Global warming,the emergence of haze weather and accelerated melting of glaciers have given a red light to people’s survival and development.Problems such as protecting living environment,reducing energy use and reducing pollution gas emissions need to be solved urgently.Under the background of coordinated development of economy and environment,low-carbon economic development model has been gradually concerned by all countries,especially China.The problem of greenhouse gas emissions from heavy polluted industries in China is particularly serious.As a thermal power enterprise in heavy pollution industry,it assumes the responsibility and obligation to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.In the "National Carbon Emissions Trading Market Construction" proposed to promote the low-carbon constraints of power generation enterprises.In the process of power market reform,the state constantly improved the relevant issues of carbon emissions,and continuously carried out low-carbon constraints on thermal power enterprises,which enhanced the competitiveness of clean energy power generation enterprises,and threatened the profitability of thermal power enterprises.Based on the above background,through a large number of reading and analysis of the literature,summarizes the relevant research of this paper,and constructs the basic thinking of the thermal power enterprise profitability evaluation research under low carbon constraints.Through the study of low-carbon economy,low-carbon constraints,thermal power enterprise profitability and other related concepts and theories.According to the actual situation of thermal power enterprises,the paper consults relevant data to analyze the efforts made by thermal power enterprises to save energy and reduce emissions and reduce pollutants.The profitability of thermal power enterprises is affected by carbon emissions and clean energy use as low carbon constraints.According to the quantitative,profitability and growth of profitability,the profitability index of thermal power enterprises under low carbon constraints is selected,and the index system is constructed.Based on factor analysis,the profitability evaluation model of thermal power enterprises is constructed.In order to verify the scientific of the index system and eliminate the thermal power enterprises with invalid information,53 thermal power enterprises were selected to collect the listed thermal power enterprises from 2015 to 2017.Through descriptive statistics of data,factor analysis of the profitability evaluation of thermal power enterprises concludes that: most thermal power enterprises have negative comprehensive scores,indicating that most thermal power enterprises have low profitability;thermal power companies still depend on traditional thermal power-based power generation forms;thermal power enterprises which in a stable rising period,not only have traditional power generation modes,but also continue to increase the investment of clean energy.According to the evaluation results,some reasonable suggestions are put up for thermal power enterprises,such as perfecting the laws and regulations of carbon restriction by the government,vigorously developing clean energy for thermal power enterprises,and strengthening internal cost control.
