| With the development of expressway construction and the increase of car ownership,the problem of road surface runoff pollution has received more and more attention.Studies have shown that the main pollutants in highway runoff include suspended solids SS,chemical oxygen demand(COD),total nitrogen,total phosphorus,ammonia nitrogen,oil,heavy metals,etc.These components seep into sensitive water bodies along the road,causing water pollution and serious damage.Local ecological environment.It is particularly important to study the prevention and control technology of road runoff pollution along the expressway.Based on the topic of “Application Research and Engineering Demonstration of Green Highway Technology in Yurong Expressway”,this paper firstly proposes the discharge requirements of road runoff by analyzing the characteristics of highway runoff pollution and combining with surface water discharge standards;The prevention and control requirements of pollution,choose to determine the use of soil infiltration system as a purification treatment method for road surface runoff pollution.Through the analysis of the mechanism of pollutant purification,the diafiltration media such as zeolite,ceramsite and cinder were determined.The optimal combination and thickness of the composite percolation layer were determined by experimental data analysis and analogy method.Combined with the site conditions of the expressway,a stepped composite percolation device that can be applied to the highway embankment section,the road section and the central separation section is proposed,and the specific design method is given.The paper uses the Hydrus simulation software developed by the American International Groundwater Model Center to simulate and verify the purification performance and pollutant concentration of the composite percolation system with time.The results show that the composite percolation system is in the runoff of the road surface.Contaminants such as SS and COD have good removal effects.The above research results have been published in a paper,applying for a national invention patent and a utility model patent.The stepped composite percolation system proposed in this paper can provide reference materials for subsequent related projects. |
