With the rapid development of landscaping, the number of green wastes in China is increasing. It not only contains a lot of cellulose and lignin, but also contains a lot of nutrients. As the country's largest producer of mushrooms, the amount of spent mushroom compost is also huge.Spent mushroom compost contains not only a large amount of nutrients, but also many microorganisms. The use of earthworms for composting solid waste is the most effective and economical method for the treatment of solid waste at present, and the microbial content of green waste is small, and spent mushroom compost can provide a large number of microorganisms at the beginning of composting. In order to promote the quality of green waste compost, and rational use of spent mushroom compost resources, this paper analyzes the different ratios of green wastes and spent mushroom compost were mixed for co-composting with earthworms, and the optimal composting product was applied to the cultivation experiment of tomato seedling substrate.Main conclusions are as follows:(1)Green wastes and spent mushroom compost are mixed in different proportions and divided into 5 treatments(GW+SMC)A1(100%+0%),A2(75%+25%),A3(50%+ 50%),A4(25%+75%),A5(0%+100%),then add the same amount of earthworms for co-composting,repeat each treatment three times. After composting, measure the growth and development indexes of earthworms and the physicochemical properties of compost products. Results showed that growth and reproductive performance of earthworms treated by A2 and A3 were much higher than those of the other treatments. The nitrogen growth rate and C/N reduction rate of A3 A4 and A5 were significantly higher than A1 and A2.The nutrient increasing rates(for TK,Cu,and Zn)in the compost for A3 and A4 treatments were much higher than those of other treatments, and composts reached maturity. The Electrical Conductivity(EC)of A4 and A5 were 6.0 ang 7.1,which was much higher than the standard value 4.0 ds/m.Therefore the proportion of SMC is too high, which will lead to high EC value. Thus, comprehensive factors indicated that, the quality of compost was best with A3,meaning it recommended application in actual production.(2)The A3(50%+50%)composting instead of peat was used as a substrate for tomato seedling cultivation. There have 6 treatments(A3;peat:perlite)CK(0:5:1),T1(1:4:1),T2(2:3:1),T3(3:2:1),T4(4:1:1),T5(5:0:1),the physical and chemical properties of the substrate and the growth index of tomato seedlings were determined. Results showed that there are has good total voids, aeration pores, water retention voids,EC value and pH value for CK?T1?.T2 and T4,and as the vermicompost ratio increases, the nutrient content of each matrix also increases.By analyzing the growth index of tomato seedlings and the comprehensive index evaluation method,it is found that tomato seedlings have the best growth condition in T4 treatment, which is V(composting):V(peat):V(perlite)=4:1:1 for tomatoes. The cultivation effect of seedlings is optimal.
