The surface treatment of the titanium alloy artificial joint ball head surface is carried out by the traditional polishing method,which has the limitations of low precision and efficiency,easy deformation,easy surface damage and edge effect.In view of this,this paper starts from the basic theory of abrasive water jet and the removal mechanism of jet polishing material,compares and analyzes the influence of different process parameters on the jet erosion flow field,and explores the influence of process parameters on the surface quality of titanium alloy specimens.The surface quality prediction model of the abrasive water jet polished workpiece was established and the process parameters were optimized simultaneously.Details as follows:(1)Theoretical analysis of abrasive water jet and study of material removal mechanism.The structure of the jet,the basic parameters and the basic principle of the jet are analyzed,the optimal shape of nozzle is determined.The removal mechanism of the abrasive jet polishing workpiece is studied with surface force analysis.The results show that the material removal in AJP(abrasive jet polishing)is the result of the combination of impact and shear function.(2)Comparative analysis of the influence of process parameters on jet erosion flow field.The flow field model of jet polishing was established.The pressure and velocity distribution of the interface and the proportion of the erosion process were analyzed.The effects of jet parameters and processing parameters on the jet flow field were analyzed.The influences of abrasive particle size,abrasive concentration,jet pressure,erosion angle,erosion target distance and erosion interface pressure field and velocity field were obtained.(3)Study on the influence of process parameters on the surface quality of polished workpiece.The single-factor experiment was designed,and the effects of particle size,concentration,pressure,target distance and angle on the surface roughness and surface hardness of polished workpiece were obtained.The significant influence experiment is designed,and the influence of each parameter on the surface roughness and surface hardness of polished workpiece is quantitatively analyzed.(4)The prediction model of jet polishing surface quality and optimization of process parameters were established.Design the response surface regression experiment,analyzes the interaction between process parameters on the quality of the polishing surface,the surface roughness and surface hardness prediction model was established,based on genetic algorithm,the GA optimization to get the optimal parameter combination of Pareto solution set,and polishing of artificial joints,ball head surface roughness is obtained when the optimal parameter combination.In this paper,a novel method for the finishing of titanium alloy artificial joint ball head surface is proposed.The development of the titanium alloy artificial joint is of great significance in the clinical application field.The related research results on the mechanism analysis of abrasive jet and in the field of jet polishing The application has important reference value.
