The application of fly ash as an inorganic filler in polymer materials can solve the environmental pollution caused by solid waste in coal-fired power plants,and at the same time,the rational use can reduce the cost of polymer materials and improve its mechanical properties.In this paper,a polyurethane elastomer material was prepared by using fly ash as inorganic filler.Firstly,two different types of fly ash surface modifiers,small molecule modifier about stearic acid triethanolamine ester and triethanolamine oleate,and graft polymer macromolecular modifier(LMPBg-KH570)were designed and synthesized.In the synthesis of LMPB-g-KH570,the reaction time and the addition ratio of low relative molecular weight polybutadiene liquid rubber(LMPB)and silane coupling agent(KH570)were changed respectively;physical and chemical properties were characterized by the above-mentioned self-made modifier..The surface modification of fly ash was carried out by dry surface modification using the above modifiers,and the basic physical and chemical properties of the modified fly ash were tested.The test results show that the self-made modifier successfully achieves effective coating on the surface of fly ash,which significantly reduces the surface polarity of fly ash and increases its dispersion in non-polar solvents.The modification effect of macromolecular modifiers is generally better than that of small molecule modifiers.The modified fly ash is used in the preparation of polyurethane elastomer material.The analysis of the mechanical properties of polyurethane elastomer material shows that the application of fly ash as filler in polyurethane elastomer material shortens the curing time of the material and improves obviously.The mechanical properties of the material;in addition,compared with the ash coupling agent KH570 modified fly ash,the self-modifying modifier modified fly ash has better reinforcing effect on theelastomer material,which not only enhances the pulling of the material.The tensile strength also increases the elongation at break of the material.The elastomeric material with both mechanical strength and toughness is prepared by adding the fly ash modified by the macromolecular modifier.
