At present,the environmental pollution is increasingly severe with the rapid development of cities,the construction of eco-city is urgent,it is not only the best choice for human development and natural harmony,but also the long-term strategic choice to achieve sustainable urban development.Firstly,the classification and screening method such as R clustering,coefficient of variation and expert experience were used to construct the evaluationindex system of eco-city sustainable development,and then the sustainable development of eco-city was evaluated by using the coefficient of variation and principal component analysis,which was based on the index system.Next,the system dynamics was used to construct the path optimization model of eco-city sustainable development,simulate the urban development process,analyze and study the future development of ecological city,and optimize and adjust the sustainable development path of eco-city in a targeted way.Finally,the above methods were applied to investigate the sustainable development state of Chengdu City in Sichuan Province,and give constructive comments on the path of sustainable development.The main study and results of this paper are Specifically as follows:(1)The system collected 108 raw data about the initial indicators of social,environmental and economic aspects of Chengdu in 2007-2016.Firstly,all the initial indexes were classified by R clustering analysis so that each kind of index after classification represents different aspects of sustainable development evaluation in Chengdu,which makes the evaluation index system of sustainable development of ecocity complete and comprehensive.And then the index of each kind of factor layer was selected by using the coefficient of variation methodto retain the indicator with a large coefficient of variation.Such a screening method can make the reserved index have a significant impact in its category,so as to avoid repeating the same or similar information in the same class of indicators.Finally,the evaluation Index system of ecocity sustainable development was revised by using the expert experience method to make the content of the index system more perfect and reasonable.The index system obtained by the above objective and subjective screening method is quite different from the previous construction system,that is,they are not simple subsystems of the environment,society and economy,in fact they are interrelated,which including a total of 27 indicators about economy and environment,society and economy,environment and society.(2)Taking the 10 years data in 2007-2016 as a sample,the economic and environmental,social and economic,environmental and social aspects of the evaluation Index system of sustainable development of eco-city were studied,and the weight of the sustainable development index of eco-city in Chengdu was calculated by using the method of variation coefficient.Then the comprehensive index of sustainable development in Chengdu is obtained by principal component analysis,and finally the present situation of Chengdu is comprehensively analyzed and evaluated.The analysisof Chengdu in 2007-2016 indicated that the economic and environmental,social and economic,environmental and social aspects of sustainable development capacity and the overall system of sustainable development capacityare generally consistent,and its overall sustainable development process can be divided into four stages,which includes the sustainable development period in 2007-2008,the sustainable recession of 2008-2010,the sustainable recovery period in 2010-2011,and the sustainable stabilization period in 2011-2016.(3)System dynamics was used to construct the path optimization model of sustainable development in Chengdu,and the structural consistency test and historical simulation test of the validity of the model were carried out based on the index data of Chengdu in 2011-2017,and then this model was applied to simulate the ecological sustainable development path of Chengdu in 2018-2025.According to the analysis results of the model,the existing environmental protection measures can not meet the pollution treatment requirements of Chengdu emissions,so it is necessary to adjust the sustainable development path of Chengdu.The research indicates eight path optimization recommendations,we can accelerate the development of primary industry,reform secondary industry,continuously develop the tertiary industry and adhere to the development of the first industries,steadily develop tourism,invest in environmental protection industry,environmental protection education,environmental protection system rectification and government monitoring,thus the sustainable development of Chengdu can be achieved,which also provide scientific basis and technical support for the sustainable development of eco-city.
