Phenol wastewater has the characteristics of refractory degradation,high toxicity,deep damage and long duration.Traditional physical and biological methods have not been effective in treating phenol wastewater,so it is necessary to find an efficient and energy-saving treatment method.Although the traditional Fenton reagent method has good effects in treating phenol wastewater and industrial wastewater,the H2O2 utilization rate of this method is low,the treatment cost is high,the mineralization rate of organic matter is relatively low,and the pH application range is narrow,which limits the development and use of the Fenton reagent method.This experiment mainly studies the enhancement of Fenton reagent by US/UV,and the effect and process conditions of US/UV-enhanced Fenton reagent for phenol wastewater treatment,and provides technical basis for the popularization and application of Fenton reagent method.In this experiment,phenol wastewater was used as the research object,and the experiment was carried out by combining static and dynamic methods.Studying the removal effect of Fenton reagent,US-enhanced Fenton reagent,UV-enhanced Fenton reagent and US/UV-enhanced Fenton reagent on phenol wastewater,and exploring the strengthening effect of ultrasonic(US)and ultraviolet(UV)on Fenton reagent.And the dynamic test is used to verify the treatment effect of the static test.The results of the Fenton reagent treatment of phenol wastewater showed that when the pH value was 3,the dosage of H2O2 was 2.0Qth,and the dosage of FeSO4·7H2O was 500mg,the removal rates of phenol and COD were 81.54%and 75.32%.When the US power was 140W and the frequency was 40KHz,the phenol wastewater was treated by US enhanced Fenton reagent,and the COD removal rate can reach 85.39%.Compared with the treatment effect of the Fenton reagent alone,the COD removal rate was about 10%higher than that of the latter,and the H2O2 dosage was reduced from 2.0Qth to 1.5Qth,the FeSO4·7H2O dosage was reduced from 500mg to 400mg.The results of UV-enhanced Fenton reagent treatment of phenol wastewater showed that when the pH value was 3,the dosage of H2O2 was 2.0Qth,the dosage of FeSO4·742O was 500mg,and the reaction time was 60min,the COD removal rate can reach 83.96%.The COD removal rate of the UV-enhanced Fenton reagent method was 8.64%higher than that of the Fenton reagent method alone,the H2O2 dosage was reduced from 2.0Qth to 1.5Qth,and the FeSO4·7H2O dosage was reduced from 500mg to 400mg.The US/UV-enhanced Fenton reagent method has a good effect on the treatment of phenol wastewater.The phenol removal rate in static test was 95.01%,the COD removal rate was 89.70%,and the phenol and COD removal rates in the dynamic test were 93.61%and 87.80%.The test conditions were as follows:US power was 140W,the frequency was 40KHz,pH was 3,H2O2 dosage was 1.0Qth,FeSO4·7H2O dosage was 300 mg,and reaction time was 60 min.The US/UV-enhanced Fenton reagent method has a good removal effect on phenol wastewater.When the same treatment effect is achieved,the H2O2 utilization rate is higher,the dosage of the medicine is less,and the treatment cost is lower than other strengthening methods.
