With the continuous increase of the production capacity of Xuzhuang Coal Mine,the mine has changed from the east wing mining to the east and west wings.And the demand for mine air increases sharply,and the passive situation of insufficient ventilation capacity has appeared.It is no longer enough to rely on the south wind well alone to meet the ventilation demand of the mine.And a new wind well should be added at the west wing boundary.In order to ensure the safety,reliability,economy and practicality of the reformed ventilation system,it is necessary to optimize the ventilation system during the mining replacement process to meet the needs of mine production.The ventilation resistance of mine was measured by the barometric base point method firstly,and obtained the distribution law of the mine ventilation resistance.It was found that the main wellbore and return air section have higher resistance.Then,according to the mine development planning and mining succession plan,eight possible mine ventilation system schemes are proposed for the problems of the mine ventilation system,And the required air volume of each wind location is determined for different mining layouts according to Coal Mine Safety Regulations" and other provisions.On this basis,using the application software of ventilation network solution,and the proposed eight solutions are simulated by the ventilation system network,and the optimal scheme is determined comprehensively.Results show that the scheme ?~VII of the west wing system resistance exceeds the upper limit specified in the regulations,cannot serve as the ventilation system of difficult times.Schemes I and VIII are analyzed as the optimal solution for easy and difficult ventilation respectively through safety,economy,and technology comparison.While,considering the factors of energy conservation,initial investment,annual operation cost and construction period,the FBCDZ-8-No28/2×200k W mine explosion-proof counter-rotating axial fan was select as the main fan of the west wind well.
