Currently, antibiotics have been widely used in medicine, agriculture, aquaculture and other fields. However, due to its unreasonable use, antibiotic has become a new kind of pollutants in water bodies, which causes serious issues to human health and ecological environment stability. Therefore, effective removal of antibiotics from water has become one urgent problem to be solved.Among many removal methods, adsorption method has attracted extensive attention due to its low operating cost and high adsorption efficiency, and its research focuses on the development of high-efficiency adsorbents. In this respect, due to the large specific surface area, regular pore structure and adjustable adsorption site, porous materials can serve as a environmentally friendly adsorbents. In this paper, the preparation and characterization of several porous materials were studied systematically. The adsorption performances of porous materials were discussed by adsorption experiments on GEM and MOX.The main contents and findings are given as follows:(1)ZnFe2O4was successfully synthesized by co-precipitation method, its BET specific surface area is 235 m2·g-1,and the saturation magnetization is 51 emu·g-1.At room temperature, the adsorption capacity of Zn Fe2O4on GEM and MOX reaches 183 mg·g-1and138 mg·g-1,respectively.(2)ZnFe2O4was successfully synthesized by microwave method,The results showed that the optimum preparation temperature was 180°C for 20 minutes.Under the optimal preparation conditions, its BET specific surface area is 235 m2·g-1,and the saturation magnetization is 51 emu·g-1,and the adsorption capacity of Zn Fe2O4on GEM and MOX reached 202 m2·g-1and 171 m2·g-1,respectively.The Zn Fe2O4prepared by the microwave method has great advantages as a magnetic adsorption material.(3)A composite of ZnFe2O4/AC was prepared on the basis of microwave preparation of Zn Fe2O4.The magnetic and specific surface areas of the composites of different ratios of Zn Fe2O4/AC were investigated. When the mass ratio is Zn Fe2O4:AC=10:9,the BET specific surface area is as high as 723.53 m2·g-1,the saturation magnetization is 15 emu·g-1,and the adsorption capacities for GEM and MOX are 433.417 m2·g-1and 388.822 m2·g-1,respectively.The preparation of the composite of Zn Fe2O4/AC has owned both the strong magnetic properties of Zn Fe2O4and the adsorption capacity of activated carbon. It is hoped that it can provide some help for the practical application of removing quinolone antibiotics from water.(4)The preparation of MIL-101 and SO3H-MIL-101 was studied in this paper. The adsorption properties of MIL-101 and SO3H-MIL-101 on GEM and MOX were investigated. The experimental results show that SO3H-MIL-101 has a capacity of 528 mg·g-1and 447mg·g-1on GEM and MOX,which is much higher than MIL-101 and other adsorbents. This work indicates that the introduction of a sulfonic acid group in the material can effectively regulate the surface charge of the material, thereby greatly improving the adsorption performance. In summary, this work provides an effective method for designing adsorbents in combination with the actual environment.
