In recent years,with the vigorous promotion of excellent traditional culture and the growing demand for people’s cultural life in our country,the calligraphy and painting paper,which is the carrier of calligraphy and painting,has developed rapidly.In order to meet the market demand,some factories gradually adopt modern pulp and paper technology to produce calligraphy and painting paper,however,while increasing production,it also causes a decline in the performance of calligraphy and painting paper.Therefore,the research and improvement of the production process and the wetting property of Chinese ink of calligraphy and painting paper has become an inevitable trend in the development of the calligraphy and painting paper industry.In this study,Tatarinowii barks fibers and bamboo pulp were used as the main raw materials of calligraphy and painting paper.The feasibility of xylanase pretreatment bleaching technology in phloem fiber bleaching was verified,and established a quantitative evaluation of the wetting property of Chinese ink evaluation system of calligraphy and painting paper innovatively.The effects of the preparation process on the wetting property of Chinese ink and physical properties of calligraphy and painting paper were explored,and the effects of different kinds of calcium carbonate fillers on the wetting property of Chinese ink of the painting paper were discussed.The main conclusions are as follows:Firstly,the effect of xylanase pretreatment on the bleaching effect of phloem fiber was studied by single factor experiment using unbleached Tatarinowii barks fibers as raw material.The effects of the preparation process on the physical properties of the calligraphy and paper were studied by using bleached Tatarinowii barks fibers and bamboo pulp as raw materials.The experimental results show that the xylanase pretreatment can effectively loosen the surface structure of fiber and help to improve the accessibility of the bleaching agent.The optimized enzyme pretreatment process:enzyme dosage 1015 U·g-1,pretreatment temperature 4045°C,pretreatment time 80 min100 min.The experimental results show that when the Tatarinowii barks fibers content is 50%to 60%and the beating degree is about35°SR,the calligraphy paper has better physical properties.Secondly,in order to quantify the wetting property of Chinese ink,the inclusion of the ink color coefficient(X),the ink color variation coefficient(D),the ink diffusion area(S),the ink relative standard deviation(R),and the surface ink proportion(SIP)were established,and the effect of Tatarinowii barks fibers content and the degree of beating on the wetting property of Chinese ink was explored.The experimental results show that when the content of Tatarinowii barks fibers in paper is more than 50%and the beating degree is 30°SR35°SR,X is about 1.80,D is about 14.0%,and S is about 8.5 cm2 to 9.0 cm2,R is less than 4.0%,and SIP is 56.0%60.0%,all indicators are better or closer to Anhui Xuan paper and Fuyang Zhuxuan,and have the better wetting property of Chinese ink.Finally,the effects of precipitated calcium carbonate(PCC),ground calcium carbonate(GCC)and microfibrillated cellulose/precipitated calcium carbonate(MFC/PCC)composite fillers on the performance of calligraphy and painting paper were discussed,and the feasibility of regulating the wetting property of Chinese ink repellency of the calligraphy and painting paper by filling different types and amounts of calcium carbonate fillers was verified.
