Research On The Operational Safety Management Of Bus Transport In Guangzhou

Urban public transportation,which is the basic and public benefit industry of urban development,is the public service product provided by the government.It constitutes an indispensable part of modern transportation service sector.With the concept of low carbon and the implementation of the bus priority development strategy in China,buses play an increasingly important role in the economy development,city construction and daily life.However,with the rapid development of bus transport industry,bus accidents occur from time to time,and the number of accidents and deaths are increasing year by year.It results in a terrible social impact.Safety problem of bus traffic have attracted more and more public attention.How to improve the safety level is the puzzle that the administrative department and the enterprise assiduously seek for.This research is to find out the problems of safety management basing on the data of 59 traffic accidents from bus transport in Guangzhou between 2015 – 2018.Through the statistical analysis,point out that management fault is the essential reason of the bus accidents.Research on the current situation of safety word for bus transport,this research presents the work and existing problems of the administrative department and the enterprise.Then,it makes a comparative of the well-done methods of domestic and abroad.In the end,aimed at the problems in the safety management of the bus industry in Guangzhou,the paper put forward the countermeasure which focus on strengthening bus safety supervision,strengthening enterprise safety management,improving road conditions and enhancing safety awareness of other traffic participants for bus safety from people,vehicles,roads,environment,etc.Finally,the paper gives a summarization.This research should be of useful for people who work in the administrative department and the enterprise in the bus transport industry.
