Carbon fiber reinforced plastics(CFRP)and titanium alloys are widely used in aerospace manufacturing due to their excellent properties.The stack materials of the assembly usually need to be connected by bolts during the assembly process,so the quality of the assembly holes directly affects the quality and life of the aircraft components.Since both CFRP and titanium alloys are typical difficultto-machine materials,the excessive wear of the tool during the machining process leads to a rapid decrease in the stability and precision of the hole making,resulting in unqualified hole quality.Low-frequency axial vibration drilling technology is an effective method to ensure the hole efficiency and quality of stack materials.Compared with traditional drilling technology,it improves tool wear and tool durability.In this paper,vibration drilling technology is taken as the main research object,the wear law,main wear forms and wear mechanism of tool in stack materials holes are revealed,the influence of tool wear on drilling quality is analyzed,and the application prospect of superhard tool in vibration drilling stack materials is analyzed through comparative experiments.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Combining with the principle of vibration drilling,the rule of tool's actual working angle under vibration drilling is analyzed theoretically,and the comparative experiment between vibration drilling and traditional drilling is designed to clarify the tool's wear form and wear mechanism under vibration drilling.(2)Based on the tool wear law,the differences and reasons of drilling force,hole quality,aperture and shape tolerance between vibration drilling and traditional drilling are analyzed,and the advantages of vibration drilling in hole quality are clarified.(3)The comparative experiments of PCD superhard cutter and cemented carbide cutter were carried out,and the advantages and application prospects of superhard cutter in vibration drilling of stack materials were studied by comparing and analyzing drilling force,drilling temperature,wear rule and hole quality.
