Silicone rubber show good temperature resistance,including electrical insulation resistance,weather resistance,physiological inertia,ozone resistance,arc resistance and high air permeability.The failed-fined silicone rubber molecular structure is spiral,and the molecular chain is very soft.The interaction between molecular chains is week,the interaction between the molecules is weak and difficult to crystallize,which resulting in poor mechanical strength of pure silicone rubber,narrow the use of silicone rubber.Adding reinforcing filler is the main mean to adjust the physical and mechanical properties of silicone rubber,After the reinforcement of silicone rubber products can be up to 40 times the reinforcement rate,far higher than other rubber that reach the reinforcement rate(only 1.4~10 times).The reinforcing filler of silicone rubber mainly includes high reinforcing filler based on white carbon black and weak reinforcing or incremental filler to reduce cost,it is an important research direction to find new reinforcing filler for silicone rubber application.Vinyl by-products are mostly secondary products or wastes from the chemical production process,the vinyl byproducts have a structure similar to that of silicone rubber,it is feasible to make silicone rubber filler after treatment,it also turns waste into treasure.(1)The vinyl by-products were mixed with silica to reinforce the silicone rubber,through the actual processing production product in the process of reaction,by-product filler mixed with silica to reinforce silicone rubber has certain research and economic value.When the amount of by-product filler is up to 20 parts,the production operation and performance of silicone rubber products are satisfactory.Then with the increase of by-product packing density,mixing difficulty of silicone rubber is increased,the rate of defective products increased,the mechanical properties of silicone rubber products decreased.(2)The addition of by-product filler has great influence on the hardness,tensile strength,elongation at break and tear strength of silicone rubber,vinyl content of the selected vinyl by-products was 1.6%,when the amount of vinyl by-products is about 10 parts,the tensile strength of the prepared silicone rubber is 4 MPa,elongation at break reached 400%,the tear strength was 17KN/m,it shows good mechanical properties.The by-product filler can change the vinyl content of silicone rubber,raw silicone rubber with low vinyl content when reinforced with by-product filler,when the vinyl content is about 0.15%,the silicone rubber can present better performance.(3)300℃×6 h after high temperature aging,the mechanical properties of silica reinforced silicone rubber products changed obviously,high temperatures destroy molecular chains,increase the crosslinking degree,the tensile strength and elongation at break are greatly reduced,tear strength increased.The mechanical properties of silicone rubber reinforced by the byproducts and silica did not change much after aging at high temperature,by-product packing can greatly improve the heat stability of silicone rubber,it is of high research and application value for the preparation of heat-resistant silicone rubber.The gas phase silica,precipitation silica and by-product filler were scientifically and reasonably matched,production of silicon rubber materials in line with the requirements,at the same time,the mixing cost can be greatly reduced.Suitable packing ratio was selected and applied to silicone rubber.It is very important to reduce the cost of silicon rubber and to promote the application scope by selecting suitable filler ratio.
