Under the background of information and economic globalization, geographic information industry has become an important part of modern knowledge economy. As a common software in geographic information industry, geographic information system(GIS)has been widely used in urban planning, transportation, air pollution monitoring and other fields. At the same time, the acquisition and use of data in open source environment has become the key content of audit work carried out by audit institutions in various countries. With the rising trend of data open source, the idea of open source has also begun to penetrate into the field of geographic information widely.Fully combining the idea of open source with geographic information system can play a greater role.As China's economy enters a new normal period, the ecological and environmental problems are becoming more and more serious. In the new period, how to play the important role of national audit in serving national governance and promoting ecological and environmental protection has gradually become a hot issue of common concern in both theoretical and practical circles. At the same time,in the process of resource and environment audit, the audit of solid waste can not be ignored.Under the above background,it is of great significance to explore the application of open source GIS technology in resource and environment auditing.Firstly, this paper combs the previous literature research on geographic information system and related technology, resources and environment, and resources and environment audit;secondly,it analyses the necessity and feasibility of applying open source GIS technology to resources and environment audit project. On this basis,it analyses the specific application of open source GIS technology in resources and environment audit, and relying on G city solid waste audit project.Case study, analysis of the expected effect of the use of open source GIS technology;Thirdly, the difficulties of the application of open source GIS technology in resource and environment auditing are analyzed, and the countermeasures are put forward. Finally, the conclusion of this paper is drawn: the application of open source GIS technology in resource and environment auditing can effectively improve the efficiency of auditing and the accuracy of finding and dealing with problems. At the same time, the requirement of full coverage, normalization and effectiveness of resource and environment auditing urges auditors to adjust the methods of data analysis, which not only puts forward stricter standards for the development of software functions in related industries such as geographic information, but also puts forward higher requirements for the comprehensive quality of auditors. The innovation of this paper is mainly manifested in the following three aspects: Firstly, combined with a complete audit case, this paper introduces the idea of auditors using open source GIS technology to find solid waste disposal and management problems,as well as the methods of data acquisition, storage, analysis and visualization,so as to improve and promote the application of open source GIS technology in resource and environment auditing. Some enlightenment.Secondly, this paper chooses the field of solid waste auditing which has been less studied by the predecessors, hoping to provide some thoughts and inspiration for the related research of other experts and scholars in the future.Thirdly,in the complete solid waste audit, this paper deconstructs the audit project from the auditor's perspective.According to the working idea of "comprehensive audit, highlighting key points",this paper introduces the specific application of open source GIS technology in the resource and environment audit, and presents the key technologies such as data acquisition, data analysis and so on.In audit cases, accompanied by relevant pictures and tables, the analysis of audit cases is more intuitive and convincing.
