The green lubrication system is designed to improve the lubricating performance and reduce the friction and wear during the use of the lubricating oil.After the lubricating oil fails,the additive can play the role of catalyst when the waste lubricating oil is abandoned in nature.The catalyst can degrade the waste lubricating oil into a product that is not harmful to the environment.This paper is based on the general idea of?first friction,then photocatalysis?.The research content of this paper is as follows:?1?Preparation and characterization of molybdenum disulfide composites.Fe3O4,Fe3O4/MoS2 nanocomposites were synthesized by hydrothermal and solvothermal method;Ti3C2 was obtained by etching method,and Ti3C2/MoS2 composites were prepared by hydrothermal method.The prepared samples were characterizated by X-ray diffractometry?XRD?,thermogravimetric analyzer?TGA?,energy dispersive spectroscopy?EDS?,scanning electron microscopy?SEM?,transmission electron microscopy?TEM?,and Raman spectroscopy?Raman?.?2?Tribological properties of molybdenum disulfide composites.The friction coefficient and average wear spot diameter?AWSD?of liquid paraffin are tested by four-ball friction tester.The optimum concentration of Fe3O4/MoS2 and Ti3C2/MoS2in liquid paraffin is confirmed.At the same time,the morphology of the wear is analyzed by optical microscopy,atomic force microscopy?AFM?and scanning electron microscopy?SEM?.The lubrication mechanism is analyzed by a certain theory.For Fe3O4/MoS2nanocomposites,the average friction coefficient and AWSD are reduced by 30.3%and 26.8%,respectively?corresponding concentrations are 0.08%and 0.10%,respectively?.The friction coefficient of the Ti3C2/MoS2 nanocomposite is 0.0578?a decrease of 40.2%?when the additive concentration is 0.6%.?3?Photocatalytic performance of molybdenum disulfide composites.The effect of additive concentration on photocatalytic performance is studied and the optimal reaction concentration is found.The factors affecting photocatalytic performance are analyzed by diffuse reflectance UV-visible?DRS?and electrochemical workstation.Finally,based on experimental data and related theory,the photocatalytic mechanism of Fe3O4/MoS2and Ti3C2/MoS2 is proposed.When the concentration of Fe3O4/MoS2 reaches 0.10%,the minimum value of the remaining LP ratio is 0.413.When the mass ratio of Ti3C2 is 8%,the catalytic performance is the best.Fe3O4/MoS2 and Ti3C2/MoS2 nanocomposites can play the role of lubricant additives and photocatalysts at different stages of liquid paraffins,which provides a green and sustainable strategy for lubricating oil.This is a preliminary attempt to design a green lubricant system along the entire life cycle.
