Treadmill is the more popular aerobic fitness equipment.Because some weather or environment constraints,as an alternator,the treadmill become more and more popular,especially is white-collar’s favorite.It has also become essential sports equipment for many families.As more and more people use treadmill for exercise,accidentally fell caused injuries are also common.Currently intelligent function was not good enough for treadmill.Motion status cannot be monitored in a real time environment.So it would be unable to predict falls.At present,the commonly used method is to use a safety rope to connect user’s clothes;the safety rope will pull the emergency stop switch.It is inconvenient to use,according the research,more than 95% treadmill user would not use the safety harness.Compare the human body movements during the normal running and accidently falls when running on treadmill.The test platform chooses subject to a certain limitation because of the treadmill exercise specificity.Collected body posture transform data in different test cases,compared the experimental data and proposed the support vector machines(SVM,Support-Vector-Machine)pattern classification design of various kinds of sports modes.Based on the existed identification and prediction of the fall theory study,select suitable hardware platform,collect and compare experiment data.Combined with the latest development of the intelligent treadmill,proposed new application,namely the treadmill predict prevent falling system in the paper,recognition rate above 90% at the certain test environment.
