With the development of the western region in China,an increasingly number of super-high plateau airports are builded and expanded in the western China.Super-high plateau airports are often operated in serious environment,and always have more safety problems than airports in low-altitude areas,including altitude sickness,declining flight performance,poor meteorological conditions,etc.In these cases,the probability of an aircraft causing a fire is very high.To evaluate the upper problems,this paper provides a quantitative method to study and assess the fire risks in the airfield of super-high plateau airport caused by aircraft accidents.Firstly,based on the four elements of human,machine,ring and tube,the fire risk elements in the super-high plateau airport airfield are identified.Next,based on the statistics of the world civil aviation aircraft accidents,the probability analysis of the fire caused by the aircraft accidents is carried out,which indicates that the ground collision and runway excursion are the main causes in the aircraft ground fire accidents.Considering the low-pressure and low-oxygen characteristics of the high-altitude airport,the fire occurrence conditions and occurrence process are searched,and a large number of literature investigations are conducted to analyze the fire smoke hazard and the personnel's tolerance to fire,to establish a fire danger level for super-high plateau airport is classified.Next,based on the Reich risk probability model,aircraft collision probability in taxi area are searched in gliding collision,cross collision and merging collision respectively.Also,the risk probability function of runway overrun is worked out by measuring the run distance in super-high pleatau airport,and estimate the probability of excursion based on Bayes network.Then,the fire risk assessment model of super-high plateau airport airfield is established combining the fire probability of aircraft ground collision and runway overrun /excursion as well as the fire probability of other accidents with small probability.Finally,taking a super-high plateau airport in China as an example,assess the fire risk of super-high plateau airport airfield.Modules of aircraft ground accident fire risk probability assessment and aircraft fire emergency evacuation and fire hazard assessment are designed,by setting operation rules,operation logic,parameter setting and simulation scenarios.The fire risk of aircraft ground accidents in high altitude airport flight area is evaluated comprehensively,and the fire risk level of aircraft ground accidents in high altitude airport and plain airport flight area is compared.The simulation results in this paper can provide suggestions for aircraft fire risk prevention and control in high altitude airport flight area.
