In China’s energy structure,mainly coal resources,but its origin is mainly distributed in the northwest,and most of the consumption is concentrated in the central and eastern regions.This differential distribution has gradually highlighted the importance of coal storage tanks in coal transportation.In order to meet the rapid development of coal industry engineering construction,the scale and quantity of trough coal storage yards are increasing,but correspondingly,the problem of water seepage in large tank silos is also becoming more and more serious.The water seepage in the silo will inevitably increase the humidity in the warehouse,affecting the normal operation of electronic and mechanical equipment,and even lead to short circuit of wires and cables,causing fires.In addition,in the case of corrosive water seepage,the integrity of the silo wall will be destroyed,the service life of the silo will be shortened,and ultimately the economic benefits will be affected.In order to avoid the waste of state property and energy,the research on seepage control of large tank silo wall is of great significance.This paper relies on the construction project of the large-scale coal transportation station trough type coal storage yard in Zhugaita,on the basis of comprehensive collection of regional geological,hydrogeological and Zhugaita large-scale coal storage station square tank warehouse related research data,combined with water pressure experiments,water seepage experiments,etc.,first-hand information on hydrogeological conditions in the region was obtained.The regional hydrogeological model was established by using Visual Modflow numerical simulation software,and the pumping well was installed near the tank to reduce the groundwater level to the critical water level,so as to predict the water seepage of the tank wall and then according to the hydrogeological conditions of the tank site.The water seepage characteristics of the silo wall,etc.,put forward the scheme of "row" as the principle of seepage control,that is,the combination of seepage well and wind(electric)drilling and groove wall engraving.The main purpose of the seepage scheme is to reduce the groundwater level in the silo and to block the extravasation of groundwater from the source of seepage.By using the predicted water seepage volume of the tank wall,the pumping wells are equivalently converted into seepage wells according to the drainage efficiency.The drainage effect of the seepage well was verified by Visual Modflow and the results showed that the seepage well can meet the requirements of the groundwater level in the silo.The wind(electric)drilling and groove wall engraving scheme is mainly for discharging during the use of the seepage well to reduce the water level of the tank,the water seepage remaining in the slope of the pit of the tank and the groundwater that cannot be discharged by the seepage well due to the existence of the seepage surface.The main measure is to make not less than 3 water-conducting holes for inserting PVC around the water seepage point of the silo wall.After that,the groove is cut under the borehole,and the filter ditch is set to seep the water through the vertical filter hole and level.Drain pipe,etc.Finally,it is discharged from the bottom of the tank,and the section size of the gutter is hydraulically calculated to meet the design requirements.
