In recent years,die-casting industry has developed rapidly,and the types and quantities of die-casting products have increased greatly in China.As an important part of the die-casting industry,Design of Die Casting Mould affects the quality and output of die-casting.In the Die Casting Mould,the cooling system is essential.A reasonable cooling system can not only shorten the production cycle,ensure product quality,but also slow down the fatigue wear of the mold and improve the service life of the Mould.However,at present,design of the cooling system relies on experience and has a long design cycle.KBE technology can achieve rapid design by learning successful cases.It provides new ideas for cooling system design.In view of the above situation,this paper develops a KBE-based cooling process of Die Casting Mould design system based on NX10.0,combined with database link technology and artificial neural network learning.The system includes hot spot calculation,database call,artificial neural network and parametric modeling of point cooling and waterway.The system can directly call the existing data in the database to guide the design,and can also obtain new design parameters by using the artificial neural network to learn the existing data,greatly improving the applicable range of the software.The artificial neural network learning has been improved,and the accuracy of the calculation is greatly improved.The calculation error is reduced from 14.115% to 0.986% and the error is reduced by 93% when learning 7000 times.Influencing factors affecting the cooling of the point cold and waterway are explored,which provides a reference for the design modification of the cooling system.It is found that the larger the diameter of the point cold,the longer the length of the point or the smaller the distance from the point cold to the cavity,the better the cooling effect of the cold point.the distance from the point cold to the cavity has the greatest influence,which has a significant effect on the cooling effect;The larger the diameter,the larger the length of the waterway or the smaller the distance from the waterway to the cavity,the better the cooling effect of the waterway.The distance from the waterway to the cavity is the greatest,and the cooling effect is extremely significant.The diameter of the waterway also has a significant effect on the cooling effect.Finally,take the engine right support as an example to verify.The corresponding point cooling cooling system design is given.Under the given production process conditions,the cooling system can control the overall temperature of the mould at about 210 °C,which meets the design standards.
