Nowadays,the freight railway in China is one of the busiest railways in the world.There are a large number of trains running on the railway or ready to start in every moment.Under the circumstances that freight and passenger transport shared railway,In order to ensure the rapid and punctual of the passenger train,the freight train has frequent parking,overhaul,or fast passing through certain fixed area.Thus,there is a great possibility that the maintenance person meeting with the moving train.In recent years,due to the short of Early-warning information,accidents happen frequently in railway workers,resulting in a large number of casualties and property losses.If we combine railway workers position with the positioning of the freight train,which will make great significance.The running freight train position information will send to the monitoring center ant send the train close to the early warning information to the nearby railway workers in real time.Then railway workers take actions for passing though of the freight train.If necessary the monitoring center can send out an early warning letter that needs to be confirmed.For emergency the monitoring center can also send emergency brake instruction to reducing the probability of accident.Through the analysis of the relevant standards of the provisional technical specification for the rear safety protection system of the double mode freight train,which is issued by China Railway Corporation(China Railway Corporation.Railway transportation department [2015] No.275),We get the requirements of the function and performance of the early-warning system.Then based on the Cortex-M4 platform,we design hardware and software for early-warning system,and realize it.The contents of the chapters are as follows:1)The first chapter mainly analyzes the background and the current situation of railway freight trains.2)In the second chapter,we analysis of the relevant standards,then summarizes the functions of the current railway freight train early-warning system.3)The third chapter is the design of hardware for the early-warning system,using the STM32F429 as the main control unit,and designing the corresponding peripheral hardware around STM32F429 to realize the hardware design of the dual mode 400MHz+GSM-R column tail equipment.4)The fourth chapter is the design of software for the early-warning system.On the basis of the hardware design,the software platform based on EMWIN.The MAIN function,dual mode sending,receiving process and the process are described in detail.5)The fifth chapter is the test of the system.We design the system test method,test steps and test outline,then the whole system has been tested and got the conclusion.All functions needed by the system have been realized,and the performance requirements have been achieved.After the production,the Lanzhou Railway Bureau,Shenyang Railway Bureau and the Nanning Railway Bureau actually put into operation,which have brought considerable economic benefits to my company,and we were recognized by the industry.
