| Acrylate latex is a kind of polymer which is widely used in many fields.It has many excellent properties,such as good film-forming properties,mechanical properties,light resistance,aging resistance and low cost and the simple synthesis process.However,the acrylate latex has some drawbacks in certain areas of application,such as stain resistance,poor water resistance,fragility at low temperature,loss viscosity at high temperature and so on,which limits its further development.Therefore,it is very important to study the modified acrylate latex.In this paper,the acrylate latex is modified to obtain the acrylate latex with better performance through emulsifier type,monomer composition and so on.Furthermore,a kind of modified acrylate latex is used as the binder to prepare coatings and the performance of the resultant coatings is studied.In this paper,the acrylate latex is modified from emulsifier and monomer.The specific methods are as follows:1.The fluorinated acrylate latex were successfully prepared with semicontinuous seeded emulsion polymerization of butyl acrylate(BA),methyl methacrylate(MMA)and hexafluorobutyl methacrylate(HFMA)which were initiated with potassium persulfate(KPS)and emulsified with the novel mixed surfactants of anionic surfactant of sodium lauryl glutamate(SLG)and nonionic surfactant of alkylphenol ethoxylates(OP-10).The product formulation and process conditions are optimized.The synthesis products were characterized.The effects of compound emulsifier,initiator and HFMA on the properties of latex were discussed.2.The acrylate latex containing fluorine and silicon were successfully synthesized by semi-continuous seeded emulsion polymerization in the presence of the mixed emulsifer of SLG environmentally friendly anion surfactant and BCE-10 nonionic surfactant,which MMA and BA were used as main monomers and HFMA and vinyltriethoxysilane(VTES)were used as the functional monomers.KPS was used as the initiator.The product formulation and process conditions are optimized.The synthetic products were characterized and their performance was tested.3.The modified acrylate latex containing fluorine and silicon was successfully prepared by semi-continuous seeded emulsion polymerization in the presence of a green mixed emulsifier consisting of cashew phenol polyoxyethylene ether sulfonate(BCE-10B)anionic surfactant and alkyl polyglycoside(APG)nonionic surfactant,in which the mixed monomers were initiated with KPS.The product formulation and process conditions were optimized.The synthesis products were characterized.The effects of environmentally friendly compound emulsifier,fluorine and silicon monomer on the properties of latex were discussed.4.The fluoro-silicone acrylate latex was successfully synthesized in the presence of a novel green mixed emulsifier of β-cyclodextrin(β-CD)and SLG by semi-continuous seeded emulsion polymerization,which was initiated with KPS.MMA and BA were used as main monomers and HFMA and VTES were used as functional monomers.The product formulation and process conditions were optimized.The synthetic products were characterized and their performance was tested.5.Environmental self-crosslinking acrylate latex containing fluorine and silicon were successfully synthesized by semi-continuous seeded emulsion polymerization in the presence of the mixed emulsifer of fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate(AES)anionic surfactant and APG nonionic surfactant,which MMA and BA were used as main monomers and HFMA and VTES were used as the functional monomers,hydroxypropyl methacrylate(HPMA)is a crosslinking monomer.KPS was used as the initiator.The product formulation and process conditions were optimized.The synthetic products were characterized and their performance was tested.The synthetic products were characterized and the effects of environmentally friendly compound emulsifier,functional monomers on the properties of latex were discussed.6.The environmental self-crosslinking acrylate latex containing luorine and silicon,which were successfully synthesized with the mixed emulsifer of fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate(AES)anionic surfactant and alkyl polyglycoside(APG)nonionic surfactant,was used as the binder to prepare the coating.The product formulation and process conditions were optimized and the various properties of coatings prepared by different formulations were studied. |
