With the development of offshore oil and gas development technology,offshore floating liquefied natural gas(FLNG)device application of production equipment is also deepening.As the core equipment in the pretreatment process of FLNG,the treatment effect of packing column is obviously disturbed by the sloshing,and the packing bed is the key place of the gas-liquid mass transfer in the column.Therefore,to carry out the relevant study on flow behavior of liquid under the sloshing condition of packing column is helpful to grasp the operating efficiency of offshore columns,improving the applicability of packing column on FLNG.According to the current random packing commonly used type primaries,for the better type(metal intalox),combining the means of experiment and simulation,compare the condition of fluid flow under the different packing bed section and height,analysis the velocity,uniformity and column wall flow effect of fluid flow under different conditions,obtain the influence rules and causes of fluid mechanics behavior in packing bed under sloshing condition.In the course of study,a set of experimental device for detecting the liquid flow behavior in the packing bed is designed based on the detection index.This device can realize the flow field detection function of different packing bed section and height.At the same time,the numerical model of liquid flow in packing bed of column is established by FLUENT software,and the fluid mechanical behavior of packing bed is analyzed from the microscopic point of view.The results show that: under the sloshing conditions,the regional packing bed flow distribution deteriorated in different degree,and with the packing bed height increases,the degree of deterioration increases.The liquid flow of packing bed near the centerof sloshing direction gets the small effect,and far from the center gets big effect.At the same height of packing bed,the sloshing conditions aid in destroying the forming environment of column wall flow effect,reduce the column wall flow.Formation of column wall flow effect under sloshing conditions were: at a certain height wall flow effect gradually,wall flow increases,reaches a certain height,inhibition of sloshing began to reflect and the wall flow decreased gradually.Based on the rules and influence factors of fluid mechanics behavior in packing bed under sloshing condition,puts forward optimization plans,in order to improve the applicability of the random packing and packing column in FLNG device,and verify the effect.The research contents of this paper can be used as reference for understanding the behavior of fluid flow in the packing bed of FLNG and improving the adaptability and application range of packings.
