unconsciously show their recognition of specific eating habits.Many traditional cultural behavior patterns are also followed in this daily eating activity.Shanxi is known as the “Hometown of Pasta”.Because of its 5,000-year history,it has formed a profound and superb pasta culture.Around the origin,development,production of pasta,there is a history of every kind of pasta in Shanxi,and each snack has a beautiful legend.The pasta culture has been integrated with the local people’s life,which has become an important part of folk customs.As a part of Shanxi,Yuanping also has a persistent attachment to pasta.The pasta culture has been passed down through the Yuanping,and it is inseparable from the identity of the Yuanping people.The Yuanping pasta was born in the folk,grew up in the folk,and joined many folklore mentalities in the circulation.It expects of a lot of people’s wishes,hopes and blessings.It contains a long history,infiltrating the local folk customs,people’s feelings and folk customs,reflecting the characteristics of life and the mood of life on the soil and water.For a long time,people have consciously and unconsciously used various folk symbols to exchange rich folk culture information.In Yuanping,pasta has become an important folk symbol in people’s daily life to convey complex cultural information,express good wishes and blessings,and form a unique cultural form.In this paper,the Yuanping City was used as a field point,and the most familiar pasta of the Yuanping people was selected as the research center,and the overall research was carried out around the pasta culture.Dietary anthropology indicates that diet research not only studies the production process and enjoyment,but also focuses on its application in social life,and should understand its social and cultural functions and connotations.As the necessities of the life of the Yuanping people,pasta picks up the responsibilities for all life.The daily life is inseparable from the nourishment of pasta.The festival etiquette relies on pasta to express emotions.Therefore,people’s spiritual sustenance and folk beliefs need to be expressed by means of pasta.This paper uses the holistic theory,combined with field investigation and literature research methods,to expound the Yuanping pasta comprehensively.The full text is divided into three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The text consists of three chapters.The first chapter introduces the factors of the formation of the Yuanping food,including natural environmental factors,social environmental factors,historical and humanistic factors.The creation of a folk phenomenon is not accidental,but has been accumulated by local people.And the study,based on specific factors,the customs of the Yuanping people cannot be separated from pasta.The second chapter is about the display of the Yuanping pasta.The Yuanping pasta has the overall style of Shanxi pasta,and it has its own unique features.The first section introduces the pasta related to the legend,which has much weight in the hearts of the Yuanping people,so people give them a beautiful story;the second section is the introduction of eating habits in daily life.As the protagonist of each meal,the pasta often appear in different forms,which also reflects the Yuanping people proficient in the pasta,and the author have selected a few typical foods to reflect the life attitude of the Yuanping people from the simple and unpretentious;the third section shows how the pasta is the carrier of the yuanping people’s folk life,and what kind of form is there.Spiritual sustenance,people’s beliefs are permeated in pasta,and they worship the ancestors.This folklore phenomenon contains profound cultural significance.The third chapter is about the folklore function and inheritance of pasta.The Yuanping pasta carries the collective memory of the native people.No matter how old or young,men and women,no matter in their hometown and other places,they bring up pasta,that is,the memories of the Yuanping people;As a food essential to life,the pasta also bears the role of a lubricant for interpersonal communication;in addition,pasta is also a sign of the identity of the local people,especially for the wanderers who are displaced from home,because they miss the people and things in their hometown through the existence of pasta.They also find ways to integrate into society through pasta in unfamiliar environment.For the Yuanping people,it is not difficult to pass on the folk culture of pasta,because they are always immersed in the dyeing of the pasta culture.Even if they left accidentally,their souls are worried about the pasta.Whether it is the inheritance of the family or the promotion of the whole society,every ordinary person is a descendant of pasta.After hundreds of years of inheritance,Shanxi pasta meets the market economy and collide with new sparks.Where will the Shanxi pasta go under the market economy,and how will the diet and tourism culture develop generated by the web celebrity economy?
