Research On The Application Of Mongolian Leather In Public Art Design

The art of leather was developed by nomads in the north to make their fur more durable and durable,using pelts from hunter-gatherer animals to make it soft with the help of stones.This Mongolian leather craft with a long history is an important manifestation of the profound grassland culture,which is rooted in the hunting and animal husbandry that the grassland people depend on for survival and development,and embodies the wisdom crystallization of the grassland people.With the evolution of civilization,there has been considerable development in the evolution of leather.Because of the characteristics of leather itself,leather crafts are mainly concentrated in the indoor public space,which is both fashionable and artistic.It is a good carrier of spiritual and material functions.The research on public art design,especially the application of national traditional art forms in public art,is of great value.At the same time,strengthening the study of Mongolian leather and leather carving art is of great significance to the protection of intangible heritage in China.This paper mainly studies the application of Mongolian leather art in the field of public art and design.The expression form of leather art is transformed into the language of public art design to convey.It is an artistic creation expanded by three-dimensional public art form on the basis of breaking through the original concept of plane.In the process of research,we mainly use the research methods of literature analysis,field investigation,questionnaire survey,summary and induction.This paper combs the history of Mongolian,understands the development course and manifestation of leather art,summarizes its characteristics and advantages,and chooses the patterns,patterns and colors of Mongolian elements.According to its applicability characteristics,combining with leather carving technology,application transformation forms the application research in public art design.The final design results are mainly concentrated on three-dimensional public works of art,which is based on leather materials and combined with other materials.Through the design practice,the feasibility and innovation of Mongolian leather art applied to public art design are demonstrated.On the one hand,it broadens the expression forms and innovative research of national art in the field of public art design;on the other hand,it provides more possibilities for public art design.While appreciating leather art works,it also understands the thematic ideas and cultural connotations conveyed by the works.
