In the process of electrolytic fluorination,the electrolysis process consumes H+ and F-.the composition of electrolyte and the change of melting point,which needs to be continuously filled with AHF in the electrolyte to keep the HF concentration basically constant.In this paper,based on the existing 10 k A medium-temperature fluorine electrolyzer technology,a liquid AHF feeding experiment was carried out,which showed how feeding AHF gas and AHF liquid managed the acidity of the electrolyte differently,and studied how intermittent AHF liquid feed and continuous AHF gas feed influenced the changes of the operating current,voltage,temperature and pressure of the electrolyzer.Methods proposed in this paper improved the anode technology and successfully prevented polarization during liquid feeding.This paper also tried to address a number of problems in existing 10 k A medium-temperature electrolytic fluorite preparation,including corroded and broken copper screw rods on carbon anode plates,shortened life of carbon anode plates,and poor stability of the medium-temperature electrolytic fluorite preparation process.Screw hole maceration was proposed to process carbon anode plates as a solution for the abovementioned problems,and a proper recipe of the maceration liquid for this purpose was determined through tests,and then verified in production.It was proved able to prevent expanding cracks of carbon node plates in usage.Research results indicated that,by improving the feeding manner and the connection between the carbon anode plates and the screw rods,the acidity of the electrolyte can be maintained within the 38.5~40.2% range.The use of AHF liquid feeding for preparing fluorite in 10 k A mediumtemperature electrolyzers circumvented the bottleneck of carbon plates being prone to breaks as a result of AHF gas feeding,basically removed anode oxidation,and boosted the performance of carbon anode plates in electrolytic fluorite preparation,providing strong technical support to enterprises that rely on this fluorite preparation technology.
