In recent years,the development and application of biofilm in the field of water treatment is increasing,and it has gradually become one of the mainstream processes of sewage treatment.As a core component of the biofilm process,the performance of the filler directly affects the efficiency of sewage treatment.Therefore,the development and research of membrane biofillers have also received extensive attention.In this paper,the biofilm reactor was constructed by using basalt fiber water treatment filler.The pHysical and chemical properties of the filler and the changes of biofilm characteristics were investigated.The degradation of pollutants in the reactor during the process of starting membrane and domestication and stable operation were also discussed.In addition,infrared degradation spectroscopy,GC-MS,and other technologies to explore the degradation mechanism of wastewater,the main research conclusions are as follows:(1)In the study on the pHysical and chemical properties of basalt fiber fillers,in terms of water absorption performance: basalt fiber fillers were 64.8% and 11.32% in the moisture content and moisture regain percentage test,respectively,both higher than the other two fillers;The drying rate of 0.342%/min is lower than 0.935%/min of the elastic filler,indicating that the filler has good water absorption properties.In terms of oxygenation performance,the basalt fiber filler has a higher oxygen mass transfer coefficient in water than the combined filler,and the mass transfer coefficient K is 0.3837.In terms of hydropHilic properties,the basalt fiber filler has a smaller contact angle of 60.523° than the other two fillers.The infrared spectrum shows that the basalt fiber may contain free radicals such as carbonyl,amino,and hydroxyl groups,and the surface of the filler is observed by scanning electron microscopy.Rough.Under certain pH conditions,the positive charge on the surface of the filler is more conducive to the film.(2)The change of biofilm content,volatile biofilm content,polysaccharide,protein and dehydrogenase content in basalt fiber filler reactor decreased first and then increased,and their contents were 0.58-0.7g/g,50%-62%17-23 mg/(g.vss),25-40 mg/(g.vss),28-65TF(gh),the content of these five indicators during stable operation The highest of the three fillers.The oxygen consumption rate of biofilm in basalt fiber filler reactor is about 15mgO2/(L.h),which is much larger than that of elastic filler.At the same time,there is a positive correlation between the biofilm content and the content of protein polysaccharide.The composition of microbial community structure in basalt fiber-filled reactors has similarities and differences.Bacteroidetes,Burkholderiales,Gemmobacter,etc.are functional strains with degrading dyes and aromatic hydrocarbons and phenolic organic pollutants,as well as some denitrifying bacteria such as Pseudomonas and Dechloromonas.The types and abundances of microorganisms are constantly changing in different periods.(3)In terms of pollutant degradation,the basalt fiber filler reactor has 83%,80.5%,80%,62%,98% removal rates of COD,NH4+-N,TP,TN and chromaticity in printing and dyeing wastewater,respectively.The removal effect was best in all three filler reactors.The single factor experiment showed that COD and NH4+-N had the best removal effect at pH 7.5,and the TN removal effect was the best at pH 8.5.In DO,3-4 mg/L,COD and ammonia nitrogen removal efficiency was the best.The total nitrogen removal rate is optimal for DO at 2-3 mg/L.HRT had the best removal effect of COD,NH4+-N and TN at 12 h.Through orthogonal test,the pH was 7.5,HRT was at 12 h,and DO was 2-3 mg/L.The effect of pollutant removal in wastewater was the best.By studying the change of sludge yield coefficient in the reactor,the sludge yield of the basalt fiber filler reactor was reduced by 52.6% compared with the conventional activated sludge process.(4)In the research on the mechanism of wastewater degradation,UV-visible spectroscopy and GC-MS show that the effluent of the packed reactor is gradually reduced compared with the original water at a certain wavelength,and the wastewater contains 54 kinds of aromatics.Contaminants,due to the existence of some specific microbial functional bacteria on the biofilm,cause the organic pollutants in the wastewater to be degraded.After degradation,the effluent substances are mainly simple organic substances such as amines and alkanes.The above research on this new type of filler can provide theoretical basis andtechnical guidance for its application in actual wastewater treatment,and is more conducive to the promotion of this new type of filler in the field of water treatment.
