Batch experimental study and continuous simulation of distillation separation process of 2,6-dichloro-4-trifluoromethyl aniline were simulated.Properties of 2,6-dichloro-4-trifluoromethyl aniline and other components were estimated by simulation software.Properties of all components in the separation system are analyzed,UNIFAC model was used to simulate the non-ideal liquid mixture.A vacuum distillation column experimental setup was built up,two different distillate was separated with different pressure. The experimental results were used to commercial design.Consider that the production throughout is large,a continuous process was required. The two-column continuous decompression distillation method was used to separate 1,2-dichlorobenzene and a small amount of water in Column 1,the target product 2,6-dichloro-4-trifluoromethylaniline was separated from the Column 2,and hydroquinone was separated from tower kettle. The top distillate from Column 1 was separated by a water separator adjacent to 1,2-dichlorobenzene and water, and the adjacent 1,2-dichlorobenzene was applied to the previous process as a solvent. The product 2,6-dichloro-4-trifluoromethylaniline was obtained from Column 2 top and purity was higher than 99%.The process simulation software was also used to simulate and optimize the distillation process of 2,6-dichloro-4-trifluoromethylaniline reaction solution.
