| The development of environmental education in colleges and universities in China has experienced more than 40 years and achieved remarkable achievements.However,in the new era of strengthening socialist ecological civilization construction,how to conduct universal environmental education for non-environmental college students,and transform Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought into college students’ ecological civilization concept,especially environmental protection awareness,remains to be explored.Environmental education for non-environmental college students not only disseminates environmental knowledge and theory,but also emphasizes environmental education from the four aspects of knowledge,emotion,intention and practice,fosters environmental literacy,and achieves the educational goal of knowing and doing.At present,there are few research results on environmental education for non-environmental students,and few research results lack theoretical analysis and support.Based on Xi Jinping’s ecological civilization thought,this paper cuts into the perspective of colleges and universities,selects some Shanghai universities as a sample,analyzes the current situation of environmental education for college students in the new era,explores the optimization path of environmental education for college students,tries to supplement the research results of environmental education in colleges and universities,and contribute to the construction of socialist ecological civilization and the construction of beautiful China and beautiful Shanghai.Based on the theory of moral knowing line and the unity of subjectivity and objectivity,this study first analyzes the connotation and characteristics of college students’ environmental education,and then combs the complicated process of college students’ environmental education.On this basis,the questionnaire survey method was used to select some college students in Shanghai to conduct environmentalawareness survey,summed up the current situation of college students’ environmental awareness,and found that contemporary college students’ environmental awareness and environmental protection literacy need to be improved,mainly as follows: Most students do not put awareness into behavior,Most students lack of environmental knowledge and narrow knowledge,Some students’ environmental emotions are more passive and indifferent,The level of environmental awareness is uneven,Environmental protection initiative is not strong,Lack of awareness of environmental responsibility.Therefore,it is extremely necessary to carry out environmental education for college students.In the third part of the thesis,this study attempts to analyze the causes of the environmental awareness of college students from the external conditions,especially the dimension of college education.Among them,there are reasons why environmental education is not valued,and environmental education guarantees are insufficient or even scarce.However,the goal of environmental education in colleges and universities,the content is complete,and the lack of activities is a direct factor.The last part of the thesis is based on the theoretical basis,and puts forward the ideas for strengthening the environmental education of college students according to the problems and causes of the environmental awareness of college students.By optimizing the campus ecological and cultural environment,broadening the channels and methods of popularizing environmental knowledge,carrying out various environmental protection activities,and guiding college students to practice environmental protection concepts,thereby improving the effect of environmental education for college students. |
