At present,with the rapid development of China's Chinese manufacturing industry,the demand for precision parts is more and more extensive and the processing quality of precision parts is put forward more demanding requirements.In the process of machining and forming mechanical parts,many processing methods such as cutting,forging,casting,welding and stamping,etc.,will inevitably affect the surface quality of parts.The surface of the after processing will become uneven.Burr edge will appear at workpiece edge and even appear crack on the surface.These surface defects seriously affect the service life of parts.There are some surface defects that are inevitable in the processing,such as parts of the surface burr flash.However,the traditional grinding,rolling and other processing methods have the disadvantage of low efficiency,burr removal rate depending on the level of technical level of workers.In addition,due to the size of grinding particles and the size and shape of small parts,the traditional finishing technology is difficult or even impossible to achieve the precision grinding of such parts.Magnetic polishing machining technology for complex shape,small volume of parts surface finishing processing,breakthroughing the bottleneck of traditional machining method,is a kind of surface polishing machining technology which can achieve mechanical finishing of small parts with complex surface efficiently and precisly.So it's urgent to study the working principle of magnetic polishing machining technology and improve the polishing efficiency of magnetic polishing machining technology.At present,there are relatively few studies on magnetic polishing technology in China.Therefore,in order to improve and consummate the magnetic polishing technology,the following aspects are studied in this paper:(1)Since different abrasive tools are magnetized after placed in the rotating magnetic field,the strength and shape of the magnetic field generated by themselves are different,resulting in different forces and different motion forms.Therefore,the material removal form after contacting with the workpiece is different.Corresponding to a small strip magnet and the steel ball is magnetized to be equivalent to a spherical magnet.The magnetic field strength and shape generated by the two magnets are different,and the action form between the two is incompletely the same as the original magnetic field.It is not exactly the same.After mixing into the steel ball,the types of abrasive tools used in the processing are increased and the form of motion is also complicated.Compared with a single abrasive tool(magnetic needle),the workpiece is magnetically polished after being mixed into the steel ball,and the processing effect is bound to be inevitable differently.it is necessary to study the influence of mixing steel balls in the magnetic needle as the surface grinding process of the workpiece.In addition,it is necessary to study the mixing ratio of the steel balls and the magnetic needles in the mixing abrasive.Because the mixing ratio of steel ball and magnetic needle directly affects the contact frequency of the steel ball and the workpiece and the magnetic needle frequency of contact member,what kind of ball and needle ratio of machining a workpiece having good effects require further experimental study done.(2)The magnetic needle and the steel ball are simulated in different positions in the magnetic polishing machine.The magnetic field strength inside and around the magnetic needle in different positions of the magnetic polishing machine and the internal and surrounding magnetic field strength of the steel ball at different positions of the magnetic polishing machine are analyzed,thereby predicting the law of the influence the length of the magnetic needle on polishing and the influence of the mixing ratio of the steel ball and the magnetic needle on the surface polishing.(3)The all-factor experimental scheme was designed based on the length and processing frequency of magnetic needle,and the rules of the influence of the length and processing frequency of magnetic needle on the polishing process of magnetic surface were studied and analyzed,so as to provide reference for the processing experiment of mixed abrasive tools mixed with steel balls later.(4)Three factors and three levels of orthogonal experiment were designed by three factors: the mixing ratio of steel ball and magnetic needle,the length of magnetic needle and the processing frequency.The influence of the mixing of steel ball and magnetic needle on the polishing of magnetic surface was studied.The difference between steel ball and magnetic needle was obtained by range analysis.Excellent mixing ratio,using variance analysis to obtain the significant effect of mixing ratio of steel ball and magnetic needle on the processing effect of magnetic polishing surface.
