For the purpose of improve the competitive power of homemade machine,this paper has deeply researched on inverted plasma cutting machine with the support of cooperative enterprise.The main work and innovation points of this paper are summarized as follow:(1)Through the research on the market and technology,half-bridge inverter topology is decided to use under the present situation and the requirement of enterprise.(2)Theoretical calculation is made based on the air discharge theory and small signal analysis.(3)Caculated the parameter and select main componments,provide the design scheme of support power and main control board,finally complete the produce and debug of circuit boards.(4)Segmented PI control algorithm is put forward on the stage of arc start with lots of experimental verification.(5)Linear decreasing inertia weight PSO is used to set PI parameter on the stage of arc cutting,in order to reduce the workload and improve the cutting quality.(6)Complete the program of main control and man-machine interaction and make the working process intergrated and stable.(7)Give some suggestions to improve cutting quality after doing cutting experiments with different technological parameter.Finally,experimental prototype has been made to do field test,which shows good performance on arc starting,cutting,arc blowout and fault detection.The cutting quality has approach same type of foreign productions,which verifies the feasibility and validity of design scheme.
