In recent years,the market demand for day lily is gradually increasing,and the dried day lily comes into being due to the fact that it is perishable.In order to maintain the stability of supply,various kinds of equipment for drying day lily are springing up all over the world.Therefore,we have designed an effective equipment scheme for day lily baking.In this paper,the domestic and foreign drying methods are introduced at first,and the drying process of day lily is introduced in detail.The baking process and the processing steps are analyzed in detail in this article.Combined with the actual investigation and relevant data,the actual problems existing in the design were found and the corresponding solutions were put forward.Heat pump instead of ordinary steaming processing or steam boiler deactivating enzymes is used to make day lily cleaner and harmless to human;the heat pump is used in the four-stage baking assembly line,which is more efficient,cleaner and less energy-consuming than the previous drying methods,thus achieving the goal of saving cost.After research and discussion,the overall plan of automated assembly line for drying day lily was determined based on heat pump,PLC as the control core,image processing as the auxiliary,fuzzy PID control as the deactivation section with high temperature requirements,and MCGS configuration software as the monitoring system.According to the current situation of day lily drying,this paper puts forward an efficient and clean design scheme of drying equipment.After studying the characteristics of day lily during baking,a set of assembly line dedicated to baking day lily is designed.The steps are as follows:(1)Based on configuration software and combined with the process flow of day lily,a monitoring system for automatic drying assembly line is designed;(2)All parts of the assembly line is controlled by using S7-200 programming;(3)The real-time data and status in the baking stage are displayed by employing MCGS configuration software combined with the process flow of day lily;(4)The baked day lily is initially classified by image processing technology;(5)The temperature in the baking section of the assembly line is controlled and simulated by Fuzzy PID,and is used to make a simulation comparison based on baking curves by MATLAB.
